If it wasn't a problem then why did we sign an agreement with those countries up stream not to dam the Niger? If any country above us dams the Niger it will affect us in multiple ways from electricity generation to irrigation to even transportation

It will take the Nigerian Airforce less than 2 days to blow up such a Dam
Re: by kettykings: 6:09am On Aug 03, 2023
I said it in a previous thread that God is about to punish some people for the unjust civil war.

The Ukrainian vs Russia War has just shifted to west Africa. Russia will show its full merciless military might in this war unlike the could not do in Ukraine because of their fellow European

France, UK, USA ARE COLONIAL IMPERIALIST, THEY CAME TO AGRICA FOR THEIR OWN INTEREST ONLY
Re: by kettykings: 6:48am On Aug 03, 2023
Nigeria that does not have light is cutting off light to another country, if this is not a joke then it is outright sarcasm
Re: by Osariemen12: 7:06am On Aug 03, 2023
As if we have light in Nigeria before now.

Many of you are just unrealistic, even a B 52 Super bomber can't make this boast but you are saying Nigeria without a single bomber can blow up a dam 😅😅...Do you know you need special bombs to be able to even hurt a dam from the air ? I hope you know the Nigerian air force doesn't have a single bomber in it's fleet
Re: by Dafresh: 7:54am On Aug 03, 2023
I'm patiently waiting for the 7 days ultimatum to end before saying anything I'm happy because it won't reach my side if war breaks out.
Re: by orisa37: 8:18am On Aug 03, 2023
VERY GOOD.
BLOCK ALL ROADS, RAILWAYS, AIRWAYS, OIL AND GAS PIPELINES TO NIGER REPUBLIC FROM NIGERIA. THOSE USELESS JUNTA ARE BITING MORE THAN THEY CAN SHEW. THEY MUST BE THOUGHT SERIOUS LESSON ON THE NEED TO BE A GOOD MILITARY AND MILITANT BEFORE YOU DABBLE INTO TEMPTATIONS OF POLITICS.
NIGER REPUBLIC IS JUST THOUGHTLESSLY FOLLOWING SUDAN, CHAD, MALI, AND BURKINA FASO WITHOUT SENSE.

Tinubu just made a huge error with this power-cut.

There is a long-standing agreement that the other nations where the River Niger traversed, shouldn't dam it, thus allowing the Kainji dam to be fully operational. In return for this, Nigeria will supply electricity to these nations including Niger.

With what Tinubu has done, nothing stops Niger from constructing its own dam on River Niger, thereby seriously compromising the productivity of Kainji dam.

Tinubu is showing himself to be a multi-dimensional disaster
