5 months is a lot of time to stay if you claim you have a business or any source of livelihood in Nigeria and especially if this is your first travel to the USA. 2-3 months is also a lot for a first timer. The V.O probably thinks you won’t return most especially because of the length of time you already stated, he/she will think it’s convenient for your daughter to make you stay longer than stated because child care is expensive in the USA.
Also, if your child is a citizen it’s easier for her to file for you than for you to go through this rejection stress after 24 months of waiting.

Filing takes long but it also varies. I know a couple of people who filed for their parents and while some took long some didn’t take long. In that 24 month wait you had, if you’d filed it would have come through by now already.

Same process, fill the form and just follow the prompts you get when it’s time to schedule appointment then it’ll lead you to Dropbox since it’s an infant.

B1/B2 middle of November down is possible but for F1/F2 August to November is possible

So everyone here can be properly advised, because i have actually used alot of guys here to change naira to rands in SA and i didnt even meet them in Person, I remember one Particular guy, i sent him 400k and he paid me in rands. The guy is on the South African Group.

very valid point, but let the alexisblessed show us evidence. I just feel we should allow fair hearing. You get, not everyone is a scammer here. Go to the poland and Sa session, see how people are connecting and assisting each other. The phone number can even be traced, if the person has an office, you can investigate or send someone to make some findings. Not making a case for anyone, just talking as someone who views issues differently. No party should take offence abeg

I recently received a notification via email to book my appointment but I'm hesitant to book because my plans have changed.

I will still want to travel to the USA but I need to go to the Netherlands first before for an extended period.

Is it possible to change my interview location from Abuja to the Netherlands without making another visa payment? Any ideas, please?

They won’t let you in with a passport with less than six months validity, get the new passport and go there with it , find someone to get the new passport out for you before your interview.
No embassy issues visa on a passport with less than 6 months validity.

Nobody said everyone is a scammer. Don’t change the focus by generalizing. There is a specific account that claimed a specific skill set. Leave Poland and South Africa threads out of the claim by this account.
Anyone that wants to work with an agent with special server into US Embassy that’s not available to the public, that’s on them.
But if it sounds like BS. It’s definitely BS.

Just to add, If you process your passport to Niger state, you can get it same day.
