Not many years back, Yoruba Nation Agitator. Sunday Igboho excaped to Benin with the help of his guys that were trying to defend him. Should we say most South West people embraced Sunday Igboho and his group? We even have a sitting lawmaker from that region defending his bravery .

Nnamdi Kanu Group IPOB has been declared a terrorist organisation but he still has huge fellowship. We have seen S/E elites and Politicians visiting him in prison and some calling for his release, should we say most people of South East embraced IPOB.

South South, we have seen Asari threatening a sitting governor and displaying arms. If it is Hausa people now, you will see people here saying because they are Hausa people you won't see DSS going after them.

....but here are Northerners helping the army guys to identify those terrorist and you are saying Northerners embrace terrorism.

I'm not even a big fan of the turn by turn thing they're proposing cause state basically lost 8 years with it's Lucky Igbinedion and the candidates I'm seeing from Edo Central aren't exactly impressive, mostly those guys that have been running since forever looking to get the nod since it's likely to go that way.

I want to hope Obaseki has something planned regarding succession. He's not a very popular governor, for many reasons, so not sure how him influencing his successor would work, but I'd have preferred whatever successor Obaseki picks.

Let's just see how it goes sha...

My rating can't be objective, since I wasn't there for most of his tenure.

There's however two schools of thought on his performance as governor though, one that says the state is shit cause of bad roads (typical Nigerian metric to judge governance, which in his defence he says the roads they complain about are mostly federal roads), and the second school of thought that believes he's approaching governance in a ways that's less typical but more beneficial... investing and partnering in investment in tech hubs, a modular refinery, grain processing plants, the civil service, renovation of existing structures, and what not...things that have better ROI than 12 flyovers and unnecessary legacy projects.
