Boyooosa: That's a big lie. Obi/LP brought exhibits from several states showing discrepancies in results , some were Benue , Rivers, Lagos, Plateau. Rivers State became prominent because there was a well publicized BBC report of rigging over there. Are you the one to tell the court that Obi proved Rivers but didn't prove rigging in Benue? infact any case you make in court, you have to wait till the judges make their pronouncement. Leave the court to make their pronouncement and just take a chill pill. |

adekolaelect: You are an unenlightened joke , the indigenous people, and other middle beltern, with Southerners dominate fct and it's not a dominion of Islamic Hausa/fulani . . It's not sokoto or katsina. |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by aswani(m): 6:48am On Jul 26, 2023 |
Yinkusgold: Obi and his lawyers did not bring proof of discrepancies anywhere, all he did was present boxes filled with IREV blurred copies and then claim the elections should be cancelled because INEC said they will use IREV to tally the votes (which isn't true). You will notice that his legal team cleverly did not reference rigged results in their final submission. There was no talk of LP votes in the election being allocated to APC. Their best bet for Obi is for Tinubu to be disqualified, he also doesn't have a good argument for that by the way, and a re-run against Atiku which of course he will lose very badly as APC voters will pay him back by voting for PDP. |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by yinkkus: 9:16pm On Jul 28, 2023 |
aswani: All those boxes are exhibits he brought to the court to prove his case and it's now left for the judges to determine if it's convincing enough, just calm down. And talking about final submission by the LP, the judges don't only consider the final submission to make judgement, (final submission is just like a summary and it doesn't necessarily have to capture all the nitty - gritty of the Court proceedings). The decisions of the judges are determined by all what transpired in the court, so you can't say, they didn't say this or that in their final address. And leave rerun for APC supporters to decide who they will vote for, if eventually comes between LP and PDP , leave out conjecture. Don't put yourself in shoes of the judges. |

yinkkus: I actually agree with you on this, yinkkus. However, it does seem strange that of the 4 or 5 points Obi's legal team mentioned, you would think overturned votes might be about the most important. Unless of course, they realise it isn't and for obvious reasons. |

aswani: Final submission doesn't have to capture all the nitty-gritty of court proceedings and judges' verdict are not based on final submission alone but all what transpired within the courts e.g evidence, witnesses e.t.c Get knowledge. |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by yinkkus: 12:11pm On Aug 07, 2023 |
adekolaelect: You are not correct, the middle beltern tribes and all and sundry all are in Abuja and Abuja is not sokoto or katsina where Hausa will control, it is home for Gbagyi, Koro , and other indigenes and southerners flourish there and are welcome by the indigenes, Abuja votes don't usually go the way of the core north. And it's a lie that core north doesn't want to win there , come what may , the statuesquo will remain. |

Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by yinkkus: 12:31pm On Aug 07, 2023 |
chidiokay: Abuja lies in the Central part of Nigeria, North - Central and all regions of the country are connected to it in no time, every part of the nation can always flood it , like they've always been doing. Think deeply too, for the fact that some come from the north e.g a person from Plateau, Taraba, Southern Kaduna, Nasarawa, Benue e.t.c may likely vote southerners too based on their sentiments and that's their region middle belt / fct region too SmartPolician |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by yinkkus: 12:43pm On Aug 07, 2023 |
zoedew: Tinubu's core - north supported' s APC and his likes don't usually win Abuja, this is not about corruption, Buhari didn't win Abuja twice he contested , Buhari also lost in aso rock, Goodluck Jonathan then and Obi won now against tinubu. It's about sentiment and not corruption. DAENNINGA |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by yinkkus: 1:11pm On Aug 07, 2023 |
flokii: "A failure who scored less than 5 percent in core northern states bla bla bla...." that doesn't hold water, and it's an irrelevant comment, is scoring over 5% in your so called northern states, the requirements, or majority votes and 25% in 2/3 of the states and the FCT? If the latter is the requirement then he doesn't need your 5% from your core north, where they are brainwashed, a region of highest poverty, out-of-school children, and underage marriage to mention but a few ....... I would love a candidate that is accepted all around but will sentiment and riggers allow that? where there is no electronic voting yet, the same is only applicable in the southeast, what are the performances of Buhari and tinubu there? Overall, meeting the current constitutional requirements of the election is the main thing and not irrelevant comment , no partisanship here. Goke7 |

Goke7: Let's be real , no sentiment and I don't give a hoot who the winner is but the process, electoral process , transmit results to the viewing portal in real time and don't tell me is a glitch , this is the reason for blurred sheets and unwanted and avoidable arguments of I scored 70% and not 50% e.t.c |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by yinkkus: 1:33pm On Aug 07, 2023 |
aswani: Let's leave it for the court then , let them work with all what they presented before them. |

Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by yinkkus: 1:41pm On Aug 07, 2023 |
aswani: And that's why I mentioned that , final summary content doesn't matter and you don't know what the judge will anchor their judgement upon. |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by Goke7: 1:52pm On Aug 07, 2023 |
yinkkus: you folks, are just emotional, when you take your case to court, use the Constitution and the electoral laws to prove your case, that's all. if the glitch, blurred sheets, and co are all infringements of the laws, then so be it. All these whinings of the viewing portal and co are just excuses going nowhere. Did the true winner emerge or did the true winner not emerge because of any portal? |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by yinkkus: 2:00pm On Aug 07, 2023 |
ppogba: It would be insensible for anyone to think obi ' s agents will not submit their ec8 forms to their control centre which is the basic thing to do before even coming forward to contest election results and also it's exaggeration or political comment that obi's agents were absent in 55% of the polling units. Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by yinkkus: 2:21pm On Aug 07, 2023 |
Goke7: You are not reasonable! Do you think IAM part of your average partisan or sentimental dude. I said there wouldn't have been issues of I scored 50% or 60% , if everything was transparent and that was the reason for the signing of new electoral act in the first place, and you are here diverting me to the court, who gives a fvck about the decision of the court, if things are so transparent, do you need court, is court a must in our election, is it how it is everywhere, what we have made a culture? Do you think truth always wins in court, court is about facts and that is it, what IAM concerned about is better and transparent process in our election and not Court and there is no partisanship. Stupid question, how can you know the true winner without transparency, when case gets to court is all about facts and proof and that's for a good Court, so court is different from transparent process, get that! |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by Goke7: 2:52pm On Aug 07, 2023 |
yinkkus: so what are you even saying here so if there is no transparency according to you so what should we do? burn down the country since the court cannot satisfy us abi and talking about partisanship, you're just contradicting yourself, so far you have grievances against the system you are partisan so stop forming being an angel and accusing others of being partisan. There is no sin of any partisanship whatsoever for whatever view anyone holds, ok? |

Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by yinkkus: 6:17pm On Aug 07, 2023 |
Goke7: You have once again re-established your erroneous interpretation of issues or is it that your deductive power is low? Where did I mention burning of country down? Go back to the genesis of these conversations, if it's out of your memory; it's just a simple comment of if things were done simply and transparently, then there won't be needless and avoidable argument of I scored 50% and they gave me 40% okay? You dragged me to court and now telling me about burning down the country, did I present both cases before you? If you know the meaning of partisanship, then you won't be talking anyhow, partisanship is the problem of a lot of you. I am not partizan ! let me re - echo it into your ears, that I don't tilt towards any party, so you don't see my comments as partizan , because a lot of you make senseless comments to defend your party, even though the argument is not that you cannot belong to any party but you all make ridiculous comments to defend your point that's the issue. "You are against the system" who told you? So if something is wrong in a system you shouldn't talk about it, that's hatred? , infact only insane person will celebrate backwardness. Always focus on a specific issue under discussion and shun negative insinuations, that's the source of your confusion, ok? |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by Goke7: 7:55pm On Aug 07, 2023 |
yinkkus: Unfortunately, you are not the one to determine if things were done transparently cos you may even be wrong in your own insinuations and assumptions. I insist that you folks are just emotional and your feelings may not be based on principle. You alone cannot be right. One common trait with you folks is the way you canāt argue without using abusive words which shows how emotional indeed you are |
