Niger Military Publicly Sacrifice Cockerel in Packed Stadium to Signify French Exit.

The Niger military went back to African roots today, by conducting a PUBLIC SACRIFICE OF A COCKEREL, before 40,000 citizens in a jam-packed national stadium in Niamey, the capital, signifying the exit of France and the defeat of French imperialist agenda in the country.

The packed stadium chanted defiant songs of nationalism, praising the military junta, and daring any nation to intervene militarily in their country.

Omo...I keep telling people that the African Gods have returned.

It is no longer business as usual in this world regarding Africa.

There is a shift occurring.

The Gods have returned.

Tinubu, you see that sacrifice conducted in that stadium in Niamey?

There is a saying in my area that it is the fly that refuses to take advice that follows the corpse into the grave.

Be warned, Tinubu.

RIP chicken

I just watched a video on Al-Jazeera that interviewed Nigeriens traders. They said inflation has shot up like crazy, and it's going to get worse. Alot of them are stocking up for their own and their family personal consumption.

Niger republic is one of the poorest countries in Africa and it relies on 40% aid from other African countries, ECOWAS, and the west to finance its budget. Now that the 40% aid has been frozen, that's a big chunk of a country's budget. This honeymoon would soon be over and reality would set in that the military has nothing to offer except guns and bullets.

Good luck to the Nigeriens.

Same thing is also happening here in nigeria ordinary nigerians don't even live better lives than nigeriens despite all that nigeria has its just a matter of time before the new military govt find better alternatives to the foreign aides and whatever they are getting from nigeria. They can even decide to dam river niger if nigeria continues to refuse to restore their electricity you already know the implications if they do that.

The coup leaders will be fine. But I pity the ordinary Nigerien.

And by the time they want to protest, it would be too late because that privilege would have been taken away from them.

Only those who have not lived under military rule would wish for it.

Good luck to the people of Niger... especially the masses.

I doubt you know how poor the masses of Niger are, how they eat and live. Most of the people you called poor in Nigeria would be called rich in Niger especially the poor in southern Nigeria. Have you seen able bodied men and women begging to eat with their children on the street... That is very common in Niger.

In Nigeria at least we can insult our political leaders and protest and sometimes put pressure on them to do better... That privilege will be lost under military rule.

Building a dam and power station is not cheap. They couldn't afford it when all was well, certainly it will be more difficult for them to build under sanctions. And most loan giving countries and institution will avoid them like leprosy because they don't have the means of paying back.

I don't wish for military intervention from ECOWAS, but if Niger is left alone... under a year the people of Niger will beg ECOWAS to intervene.

All these initial gra gra by these illiterates in power.

When Hunger finally catch them, they will become humble.

All these pan African Nationalism only work initially because most African leaders that rode into power based on the Black Africa agenda DONT HAVE A CLUE or intelligence on how to Unilaterally run their Countries.

Imagine Mugabe taking over HEAVILY Industrialized White farms in Zimbabwe and giving them to Black Peasants who just destroyed the farms

Mobutu tried that as well.

These Niger military guys will see shege from Russia who will just be dribbling them.

When Everyone cuts them off, they will come back begging.

You really believe in those propaganda? And even if true, you think an unaccountable government like military will bring a change?

The bad part for us in Nigeria is that when the realities set in... Millions of them from Niger will find their way through our porous boarder into Nigeria and add to the problem of unemployment, insecurities and other economic challenges we already have.

Visit Niger for a week like I once did and you will thank God you are a Nigerian because whatever you complain here in Nigeria is worse over there.

Secondly, imagine having all these problems you listed in Nigeria, then we are now forced to receive more than half of Nigeriens joining us as refugees / illegal immigrants to share what we are saying it's not enough... How do you think we will fair as Nigerians?

Their position is very bad from the way you tell it. I admire their spirit and courage. If we can just be afrocentric and Pan-African again like we were in the last century before greed and nepotism became our drive. Nigeria would be great. Africa is shaped like a gun, South Africa is the nozzle and Nigeria is the trigger.

What does that prove or what exactly is your point? Because there are Nigerians living well in Niger means there are no many poor people in Niger? My hosts in Niger were actually Nigerians living there, one has a good business and the other works with a bank... Yet I saw so many Nigeriens in serious need.

They're Americans, British and many Europeans living in Nigeria. Does that mean majority of Nigeriens are fine?

Yes many things are bad in Nigeria but most are worse in Niger.. and military government and sanctions will only make things more terrible for them.

In my own case, I have never been there but flew over Niger several times. From the sky, it's mostly desert. When you find a green spot, you would see a cluster of houses around that green spot.

I have also seen their biggest cities like Niamey, Zinder, Agadez e.t.c on TV. One would really thank God that one is indeed Nigerian over a Nigerien.

I'm afraid that a falacy.
NIGER IS A VERY POOR COUNTRY..... SANCTIONS WILL HURT

Even mighty nations like Russia IRan Venezuela......all oil and gas rich nations suffered very well and spent huge chunk of their wealth crawling through the web of sanctions.
Pray not to be on the wrong side of international politics..... ordinary human rights report Abuse report on Nigerian security forces naim USA use no take sell us critical weapons needed to defeat BH thereby prolonging the BH war.

And there not enough money to be shared between the soldiers and citizens...the honeymoon will soon be over.

Forget Niger. EGYPT that I saw a video with my own two eyes on YouTube where Naija vlogger Tayo Aina went, and GROWN MEN were following him around, begging him for money. Arabs. Children too. The guy was so irritated.

Even when he stopped at an open air restaurant to eat, see as Arab kids full him table dey find money.

In Cairo.

We always lambast Nigeria, but it is far worse in many other places.

Go to Zimbabwe today. Mugabe is a HERO. Unlike a slave like you, he did not mind HURTING THE COLONISING THIEVES.

He presided over a nation in which 80% of the land was owned by a 5% white minority, and he said HELL NO!

After Britain under Tony Blair reneged on a redistribution deal involving the whites, which would have made it 'orderly', Mugabe ordered INSTANT REDISTRIBUTION of the land to the black majority population.

The prime lands were NOT handed over to 'peasants'. They were handed over to black business people whom the BBC called his 'cronies'.

The hypocritical station forgot that British land is owned by a tiny handful of aristocrats.

The west imposed heavy economic sanctions on Zimbabwe in retaliation, because you see, they believe they were entitled to own 80% of Zimbabwean land.

Why don't you go hand YOUR ancestral land over to white men since you feel so damn inferior?

Many Zimbabweans now have a stake in their country and own land where previously they were landless peasants slaving away for the whites on their own ancestral land. The worst of the sanction effects are over, and they are thankful for Mugabe.

BBC never told you the news this way, did they?
