The Lagos to Calabar railline do not pass throughout any NE or NC state. Its SW - SE - SS rail line. Its called a coastal line for a reason.

Both the Lagos to Ibadan, Ibadan to Kano and the proposed Lagos to Calabar are all standard guage.
