Will French go hard or suck it up and let Russia be the new lord of Niger?

Yes! France can source Uranium from other places(Niger is 7th producer of Uranium in the world but it's not gari they can eat when hunger strikes them and how many can Russia fly out with our sanctions in place?)Russia can fund 40% of his Niger's economy that is heavily dependent on foreign aid but for how long?

Its difficult to know who will win between the two in their proxy war in Niger though most people will say Russia but I'll say France is very capable and has an edge with expendition with which it can quickly move weapons where Russia will struggle.

France was welcomed 10 years ago, how long is Russia going to last?

Why did France have that much presence in the many west Africa countries?

Is Chad next?

Will the north that just screamed blue murder over nothing in particular now want Nigeria to get involved(president Tinubu must say NO and call for sovereign conference even before then)or keep making it a family affair like it's been and on their own take up arms to go and help their brothers across the border or just watch?

Some say president Tinubu is the target, and I say the whole thing looks like a giant octopus.

I thank God for the love he has for Yoruba for making president Tinubu to be in that seat today, we are at the crossroads and in the most important period in history. The stars have aligned, a chance like this comes once in every 10 lifetimes and we must not blow it.

I can smell freedom already.

What about you?

Niger is poor by the making of the French. If the French pay the market price of what they are taking from Niger that country will not be poor. They can fund their budget like every other nation and develop other sectors of their economy to attract more growth.

That makes sense.

France is ruthless, it bankrupted Haiti.

But I don't know about replacing one devil with another, though I like Russia. If the deals will be fair, I'm all for it

I don't know why African leaders make such bad deals. There's a country(I forgot the name)I saw in a documentary last week that gets only 10% of the country's resources, I was like wtf!

Asiwaju should partner with Putin and Xi and become a dictator.

If Asiwaju can buy into the agenda of Russia and China, they can make him a life long dictator, and Putin can even assist in eliminating all political opponents.

China can help with censoring the social media space, so Nigerians won’t be able to rally round.

If Asiwaju ever has an interest in becoming a life long dictator, he should buy into China and Russia. Those countries are good with dictatorship.

No, president Tinubu is not interested in being a lifelong president and shouldn't be. Let him serve his terms and let others come too.
