The power to manipulate the minds of the people lies within the media, sometimes the people controlling what we hear or see through the media don't want us to see from others perspective view of action. The internet may try to paint the Niger coup as evil all because it oppose democracy, which in return not opposes the main weapon the developed western nations and it's Allies uses to enslaved African countries for a very long time now.
From the words of Italian PM Ms. Meloni they were facts and truth no body or our so called ECOWAS leaders never attended to, or deem it fit to address before now.
According to Ms. Meloni, she told her supporters that what’s “disgusting” is a “France that continues to exploit Africa by printing money to 14 African countries, charging them mint fees, and by child labor in the mines and by extracting raw material, as is happening in Niger,” where “France extracts 30 percent of the uranium it needs to run its nuclear reactors, while 90 percent of Niger’s population lives without electricity.”
For once Africans, can we see some truth about the recent happenings?

The historical record provides some support for these grievances. French colonial rule established political systems designed to extract valuable resources while using repressive strategies to retain control.
So did British colonial rule, but what was distinctive about France's role in Africa was the extent to which it continued to engage - its critics would say meddle - in the politics and economics of its former territories after independence. France also forged defence agreements that saw it regularly intervene militarily on behalf of unpopular pro-French leaders to keep them in power.
Worse still, the relationship between French political leaders and their allies in Africa was often corrupt, creating a powerful and wealthy elite at the expense of African citizens.

Let me try and stop here by taking this home a bit, please for the sake of clarification I really need to ask this question, what have we in Nigeria gain from the democracy of Niger? What has ECOWAS done for Niger? Are we not sanctioning our own brothers because it interest the developed western nations?
Are they developed western nations not really exploring us the black?
Niger coup should really be a wake up call for all our leaders

Democracy in Africa is as good as nothing, the African continent is not yet ripe for a true democracy, there would always be coup d'etat in Africa.
