Our Estate In Ago Wants To Start Impounding Cars For Parking On The Street!!!!! by blackhawk123(op): 10:00pm On Aug 09, 2023
I was walking to the gym today only to see this on the gate of one of the houses in victory estate, ago palace way. We normally don't have enough parking space and no one wants the stress of waking their neighbour early in the morning to go and move their car. Now we are hearing that the estate association want to start placing fines on people who park their cars on the side of the street overnight. 20k per "offence" in this harsh economic period.

They even gave a period of just 2 days or so before they start action. Is this legal?? it's very unfair to residents.

How can we fight this? See the letter attached below.

Why not charge a fee for street parking and use that to improve the estate.

Yes it's very fair I liken it o same act of community cutting down power because some community or estate pay the bills. My community here even dey cut light, we bought our own transformers, pay night guards etc
