I am just curious please has anyone who had to submit outside the 30 days window gotten approved? I am dealing with having to re-submit my passport after it was returned.
are you still within the 30 days window? If yes do all you can to submit the passport yourself if possible. I’m yet to see anyone gotten their visa after the 30 days window.

Thanks everyone. I submitted today at DHL office. Paid 11k5 for delivery to VFS Lagos. Then another 20k250 to VFS Global logistics for return delivery to me. Transmission fee was not paid since I still have a valid Biometric, which i did in 2017

In my case I did my Biometrics in Abuja last year and submitted my passport in the same Abuja . I had my yellow Biometrics slip with me but I was still asked to pay transmissions fee despite my yellow slip...the reason the guy gave me was that the Biometrics was done for a previous application. I just paid it to avoid their wahala...Thankfully I've collected my passport although I noticed that no one else has had this experience.

Bro congratulations.

Did you book an appointment for your passport submission?

You don't book appointment to use courier. I just went to DHL office and paid for it to be delivered to VFS Lagos. They have the checklist with them

I hope VFS send your passport to IRCC.
In your case, I believe you need to pay for the transmission fee.

I really doubt if 2017 biometric enrollment will waive transmission fee.

Why is the agent not following up? This is a simple task that just requires some follow up.

Are you sure the agent didn’t receive the tracking number as VFS sometimes share it if requested.

Nothwithstanding, if you have the email used in the application, you can use that and your name to chat with VFS i.e. follow these steps tomorrow:

1. Click on 'chat now' from this page
- https://visa.vfsglobal.com/nga/en/can/contact-us#

2. When asked to fill in your details such as name etc, use the agent's email that was used in the application

3. When connected to an agent, give them your tracking number and request for the UPS tracking number

Since the chat channel is usually busy, keep trying till you connect to an agent.

I chatted the webchat for the UPS tracking number ..the lady I chatted with said none is available ..she still insisted that the passport has been couriered to UPS...finally she said I should write a mail canadang@vfshelpline.com to request for the AWB number...I am really confused about this whole thing...

Do you have the tracking ID no ? How do you prove to them that you came for such thing
Because through what you said the agent have been the one doing all that for ya since the first day
So 🤷‍♂️
My friend went there with the photocopy of his passport data page and the UPS sheet they gave him the day he submitted his passport
You know the reason why he used the UPS was that he didn’t book appointment the day he went to submit his passport
So he can’t just go direct to embassy and submit his passport without appointment that’s why he went straight to UPS near the embassy and do it
So you case is just different

Why put pressure on the agent to make a move concerning this

Not sure it will help.

The details have been shared with the agent whose email is on your application. Do note that even if you write to them, I doubt they'll release information to you. They usually will ask that you write to them from the email registered in your IRCC file.

I suspect they didn't release the AWB to you for this reason. But again, write to them and see if it helps.

Right now, you need to push the agent as I don't think trying to change email or contact details now will work as your application status might be closed due to final action has been taken already (i.e. visa issuance)

PS: Exercise caution when following up esp if you didn't declare an agent submitted on your behalf. We've seen a refusal from someone who failed to declare this and this refusal was sent after he received PPR. However, if you declared this, do push them for a response via email
