This is a case of one bad decision leading to another. If INEC had not rigged the election, we won't be dealing with another bad decision. Have they not heard or have they not seen, any country the USA touch crumbles. NSK4U: 1 Like |

SeriouslySense:One thing I hv come to realize about Tinubu of a man is that he doesn't think before he acts. That's not a good sign of a leader at all. U can't just wakeup and start dishing threat to a sovereign nation, and military for that matter. Well, let's see how d war goes on. I was listening to an hausa group last week and they said it that anybody supporting war against Niger is an enemy to dem 1 Like |

This Niger guys should drop ego and act smartly by telling the ECOWAS to give them 6 months to do transition to democratic rule and he and his boy occupy the position as democratic president this is simple. Moreso I suspect the junta are scare their aides can do to them what they did to their boss if they choose to go democratic. |

HardBishop: You are Yoruba, the type of Yoruba that cooked up the WhatsApp message about Dr Iweala receiving threatening messages after her meeting with Tinubu; just in a bid to make Igbos look bad, stop descending such low in thinking when engaging the public cos you are embarrassing your entire Yorubaland. Which part of the East are you from? 'O buru n'ibu nwaafo, Kedu onyendu ogbe gi?' 1 Like |

Those supporting the Junta because of one reason or another hope they will help Niger people when the Junta really start showing they are Junta. So easy to claim the people want military rule but when they really start showing their true colors the people will pray hard to return to democracy. Here in Nigeria we blast GEJ, Buhari,Tinubu as we like on social media even face to face like the man that broke protocol and wanted to go and confront Tinubu on inauguration day.But military rulers will never accept things like that. They will always go hard. They will order that type of person to face fire squad. We sue govt to court here, anybody that does that with military rulers will be dealt brutally with .Military rule will always be brutal 1 Like |

Unfortunately you are right, but its not in our place to interfere with their affairs. And if we interfere, then we are setting an example that any country can wake up one morning and create some justification to interfere in another country, as long as it has the means to do so. Bhol28: 1 Like |

Henryjr:Rubbish. This is the west goading ECOWAS into a war for the selfish interests of the west. Where was ECOWAS when they had a coup d'etat in Mali and Burkina Faso? I guess the gas and uranium interest of the west in Niger is enough to go to war. So many of us Nigerians would volunteer to fight for Niger Republic should the mandate thief continue on this war path 1 Like 1 Share |

Henryjr: Before you misinform the general public, the president of Nigeria is first the president of Nigeria before any other external organizational duties. The senate has said no to the deployment of Nigerian armed forces for this course, so it will be illegal and an impeachable offense for any Nigerian armed forces personnel to partake in this conflict. So tinubu should rest, besides there are other avenue to resolving this than an outright war. 1 Like |

Henryjr:lol you wrote well but when all is said and done; No one should invade Niger. Whatever happens internally in another sovereign country is no one's business. Why on earth should ECOWAS want to invade Niger? What exactly is lost or of interest to busybody ECOWAS that they're looking for in Niger?? Is Niger posing a threat to anyone or have they ever invaded anyone? Mtchewwww |

festacman: If any President or Country says the situation in Niger does not concern him or his country, one day, such President or Country may need the help of ECOWAS or AU. This is not PBAT war, it is a collective decision to fight for one of their own. Let us support our President now for the sake of our tomorrow. The Junta should release President Bazoum and his family and see the embers of war fade away. The decision not to let go of the President is the root cause of this war calls I do not support war but let the Nigerien government release President Bazoum and his family, and give the world the timeline for their exit and handover to a civilian government 1 Like |

Tealcrestmedia:I wan see how busybody Tinubu wan take deploy our forces into Niger when the Senate and almost all Nigerians already voted not to invade. Wetin lost for Nigeria hand wey Dem dey look for in Niger? So they're just going to send our boys to go and die there abi? France and US should deploy their forces into Niger if e sure for them. SeriouslySense: None of the Presidential aspirants has said they scored more votes than PBAT. The matter is before the Court to adjudicate and I think you should allow the Court to decide As of now, the decision of ECOWAS stands |

Re: Niger: ECOWAS Military Chiefs To Meet On Saturday by festacman(m): 3:51pm On Aug 11, 2023 |
ojoadeola: I understand your position but you see, democracy is also about people's opinion. Majority of Nigerians especially northerners are against this war threat. Don't forget that majority of NASS members are also against the war and this implies if Tinubu supports the war and it actually takes place, he is likely to be impeached. If you don't listen to the people who elected you, you will lose legitimacy. I expect Tinubu to be aware of this given his experience. |

How is it possible that a person with issues of legitimacy is trying to protect the integrity of another country. It seems more irrational and crooked. ojoadeola: |
