The 🇺🇸 US Embassy in Bucharest (Romania) announces a " decisive meeting " Friday in Galati to find solutions to the "Ukrainian grain crisis". ⚡️🇫🇷 Air France extends the suspension of its flights to Mali and Burkina Faso. Air France has extended "until August 18 inclusive" the suspension of its flights to and from Bamako and Ouagadougou "following the coup d'état in 🇳🇪 Niger and because of the geopolitical situation in the Sahel region", the airline said on Friday. The carrier announced on Monday a suspension of its flights to 🇲🇱 Mali and Burkina Faso until Friday inclusive, shortly after the closure of the airspace of neighbouring Niger. |

⚡️🇺🇸 American Bradley infantry fighting vehicles are one of the most frequently destroyed types of equipment supplied by the West to Ukraine. At least 23 combat vehicles have already been destroyed, more than 20 were significantly damaged, and five more were abandoned on the battlefield, writes The Messenger. "Unfortunately for both Ukrainians and their foreign patrons, many of these systems have already been destroyed," the authors of the American edition lament. It is also reported that THE 🇺🇦 Ukrainian Armed Forces lost 60 M113 armored vehicles, 57 MaxxPro armored personnel carriers and more than 100 Humvee army SUVs. ⚡️Venezuela wins $1.5 billion lawsuit in 🇵🇹 Portugal: Novo Banco ordered to return funds The Foreign Minister of Venezuela, Yván Gil, announced that Venezuela has succeeded in a legal case in Portugal. The judgment from the District Court of Lisbon instructs the Novo Banco in Portugal to return $1.5 billion to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The bank previously held this sum. The judgment states that these assets should be restored to several Venezuelan banks and state-owned companies that had placed their funds with Novo Banco. The reason for holding these assets, as claimed by the bank in 2019, was related to questions about the legitimacy of 🇻🇪 Venezuelan authorities.
