soccerlite:So you do not know Nigerien forces are already all over Lagos? Not just Lagos, all the states of the south west. Not just there but all over Nigeria. From east to SS. Dont you know all those abokis you see changing money, all the abokis that dominate okada riding all over the SW, SE and SS are mostly from Niger? On radio on Monday, during a phone in program, someone called in, spoke of the agbero and okada riders fight over money in his area, He said after the fight was settled, all the bikers were saying was that Tinubu wanted to attack their country and bring war to them. They said Nigerians will know how far when they too start their own wahala. |

Any move against Nigeriens is a move against the North Tinubu should rather rely on diplomatic measures by using Northern elites and leaders including past presidents from North to further diplomatic discussions with the military junta in Niger than applying direct military force… Make this man use em head make e no be like how he unguardedly pronounced SUBSIDY IS GONE a statement he is not suppose to make at the time. PO is coming… |

optimusprime2:I must commend your constructive criticism which is scarce on this platform but I have a few counters . 1) being a bloodless coup does not mean that it’s not a coup and illegal . 2) that it was a successful coup does not mean that it can not be reversed. 3)that the people (groups of people) are happy with the outcome does not means that it’s the right thing to do,we’ve seen people hailing known thieves ,if they’re not happy with their president ,they have the right to vote against him at the polls. 4) people took power by force ,you don’t beg them to return the power ,you reason with them (your word must have power/force ) or else it will be dismissed weakly . 5) that previous coup was successful but the previous ECOWAS chairman was weak and could not do anything emboldened other coupists to make their love ,if the then chairman had used force against them ,others will not try such nonsense . 6) because the countries that had fallen into usurpers are francophone countries does not means that it will not spread to anglophone countries too ,that’s why it must be nip in the bud . 7) fighting against imperialism is important but you don’t fight an imperialist to run to another imperialist. I don’t know BAT reason for wanting to invade ,it might be because he’s in bed worth France but I as a Nigerian citizen,I think it’s a right move so that other usurpers will think twice before making drastic decisions.9) that the then chairman of ECOWAS did not do the right thing when Nigeria fell into military rule or that last chairman did not invade Mali and co when they fell to military rule does not means that the current chairman can not make the right decision. It’s not too late to do the right thing . 10) it’s the usurpers that are inviting Wagners ,can you see that they’re not thinking or just fighting for their own pocket ? 11) the humanitarian crisis that will follow if Nigeria did not intervene will be much more than if we intervene. 12) testing ground or not ,west Africa must decide their fate and ECOWAS has spoken . |

grandstar:That's exactly what he did. That's how he decided the north to vote for him instead of their brother, Atiku. Northerners would always choose their brother, but they prefer Shettima to Atiku because Atiku is more liberal unlike Shettima |
| Re: Protest Hits Kano Over Planned Military Intervention In Niger by grandstar(m): 9:31pm On Aug 12, 2023 |
YouAreNobody:That man Tinubu-underestimste him at your peril. I'm not sure if Shettima got more votes in the North but he's definitely seen as more conservative than Atiku. What if was a 2 man race- between Atiku and Obi- who do you think would win? Atiku would in my opinion. Atiku is someone politicians can make deals with unlike Obi. Wike chose Tinubu over Obi. |

Kano politics is unique indeed. Many things happened that worth protest but none protest but this one has scary aftermath that’s why. Okay oo |
| Re: Protest Hits Kano Over Planned Military Intervention In Niger by grandstar(m): 11:00pm On Aug 12, 2023 |
YouAreNobody:The Southwest would prefer to vote Atiku rather than Peter Obi. I'm Yoruba and live in Lagos. All Atiku has to do is pick a Yoruba candidate and the win is sealed! |
