The Uncontrollable Spread Of Sexual Lust

It all began with one sin, a seed sin that was sown in the beginning.

Genesis 3:6 (KJV)

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

That one sin (seed) then grew, multiplied, and harvested several other sins, including sexual lust.

Sexual lust in itself is a seed that could also grow, multiply, and spread.

However just as it was with the seed sin, except it is sown or allowed to take root and establish itself, it abides alone.

Sexual lust cannot grow, multiply and spread itself by itself. It needs a base or foundation to first establish itself, before it could be able to function and thereby advance it's course.

Although it appears controllable and manageable at the initial stages, if left unhinged or untamed, it could become a huge monster or as a wild fire devouring everything in its path.

That could serve as an explanation for what's gone wrong with the society, where the perpetration of all manner of sexually related atrocities is no longer news but now the new norm.

Adults raping babies, parents sexually abusing their children, children sexually abusing their parents and what have you?

That's what is inevitable when sexual lust, a sinful imagination of the heart, is not uprooted or stopped at the inception, but allowed to grow, multiply and spread. Matthew 5:28

Although nudity not doubt played a significant role in the rise of sexual lust to its present alarming level in the society, which calls for serious concern, the fact that there was 0% sexual lust at the point there was 100% nudity (in the beginning), proves this is not just about nudity but has to do with the mentality.

However in some societies where people were usually fully clothed, such atrocities were yet more frequent, to prove it is not necessarily about nudity but the mentality, as the average level of sexual lust in such societies is higher, hence the higher rates of such sexually related atrocities in the society.

Imagine where an adult will rape a baby or little child.

It would be most absurd to blame nudity for such madness.

It's the mentality. Sexual lust has risen to the point where it's makes people lose their sanity and humanity, and drives them (crazy) to do the most unimaginable and despicable things, which they often regret after the deed has been done.

So that should be our major concern if we really want to address this societal menace - how to reduce the level of sexual lust in the society.

To do this, those responsible for the growth, multiplication, and spread of lust in the society were going to have a major role to play.

[b]They must henceforth desist from such activities which contribute to the rise of the level of sexual lust and moral decadence in the society, since it is causing much more damage than whatever good they may think they were profiting from it.

This includes those in the porn industry, those in music industry who deliberately promote sexual lust via their music(both audio and videos), those in the movie industry who do same via their movies, those who dress sexy to seduce others, also those who glorify sexual lust by pinning the blame of sexually related atrocities, as rapes, on nudity instead those who commit such atrocious acts etc.

If they however choose to persist, whenever they get to hear the heartbreaking news of such atrocities being commited these days, as when a little child or baby was being raped or sexually abused etc., they should feel very proud of themselves and pat themselves in the back for the job they've proudly done, because that is a consequence of the growth, multiplication, and spread of sexual lust which they promote.

Lust is not a perversion but a strong desire for something. Use your dictionary.
Having a strong desire for something is not immoral. Sexual lust is not immoral.
Fornication is immoral.
There's a difference between having hunger for food and actually eating the food.
You can have hunger for food but the manner in which you satisfy the hunger may be unacceptable and that's where immorality comes in.
Sexual lust is not immoral but satisfying the lust in an unacceptable manner is immoral.

At the bolded, a man cannot intentionally have sex without the desire for sex but a man can eat food without necessarily being hungry.
Food cannot be used as a similitude with sex in all aspects.
And there is no way a man can get a woman pregnant and multiply as demanded by the his creator in Genesis without having a desire...maybe strong desire for sex.

Like I mentioned, Use your dictionary for meanings of words before assuming blindly just to drive home your religious view.

I think it's pointing to the end,.......if we compare as near as late 90s to now, thr is big paradging shift on how people involved sexual immorality.

Now, ladies having sex with any available guys, with no single shame or shy as it was in the past. Infidelity among Married couple skyrocketed (upto 70%) .

Sex was easy to get in the time of the Bible and slaves could be bought for sex. But today we live in a modern society so the way to get sex is to find a girlfriend or get a baby mama or see olosho or masturbate.
