He has become something else? Akpabio that has 90billion naira case with EFCC since 2015 and his sins were forgiven when he joined APC.

You guys wanted to teach Obi a lesson so you allowed criminals to take over leadership,
you'll learn the hard way. You don't know what you've done to yourselves

Anyways there’s no way they would have succeeded with the budget padding without Tinubus consent

My own worry is if the projects inserted would be executed and not used as a means of looting.

Lmao!

The projects listed are the items inserted to the budget as the "padding" na. They're just listed there until the allocations are released, then the monies will find their way into Akpabio's pockets and the rest. Projects, o ti loh!

The masses are in support of the thieves governing them just like almost 3 out of every 4 Nigerian is also looking to scam unsuspecting people otherwise there would have been a revolution against these politicians!

We are still coasting. When we have been pushed hard to rock bottom, we will decide the course of our nation ourselves!

Despite they know that Akpabio is unrepentant robber, they still went ahead and made him the senate president. His antecedents as the minister for Niger Delta commission is still there and we know he may be prosecuted very soon. There is no way u can have people like Akpabio in government and expect the country to run smoothly or move forward. Let them run the government the way they want it. God will not shame his children.

That was why Tinubu opted for him. Worst administration in view.

My problem is not even the padding...but the fact that we have senators from the south who sat there and watched their northern counterparts pad the budget in their favor without them padding to the advantage of the south.....what a shame.

Eventhough Nigerians are jokers for ignoring your antecedents, Do not escalate our frustration on your 'Ways and Means' of Looting anything at sight with reckless abandon.

I presumed u are a very rich man, extremely comfortable, and I don't understand why an element like you will ignore governance and insatiate yourself to Filthy Lucre. Ludicrous gluttons in the midst of this national pepperoni APC Govament.

Na wah. 250m for lexus suv vip edition.
Not that is bad oh. But in the present condition of the economy and the way people are suffering, does it make sense for an official with human feeling choose to buy a 250m vehicle?
Supprisinng thing is that these officials are mostly what we call government pikin, people that have not worked out money in their lives, that have not eg driven a bus, buy fuel, run maintainance, carry passangers and see little profit at the end of the day. Someone that has not made and handled his personal money then becomes a LG chairman with a budget of 2billion. First thing is to buy 2 units of 250m lexus and 2 hilux at oluwole price of 150m each. Blow the money without conscience.
Nndc and apabio comes to mind.
Anyway, some of us decided to vote for a candidate in the last election not based on tribe but because we felt under him and based on his lifestyle and antecedents, we believed rightly or wrongly such shenanigans will stop or atleast reduce, some thought otherwise(which is their right).
Today, we are reaping the adverse benefits.

Even though I know and have maintained that SR is one of the most useless online blogs in Nigeria because of the monumental level of story fabrications they do and even though I am sure this story is not based on whatever source they claimed they have, but based on usual gists they hear from shekpe, burukutu or beer parlor joints,it should not be news that Akpabio padded the budget.
Akpabio and corruption are unbreakable siemese twins. The man lives and breathes on corruption,so any position he occupies be rest assured his first priority would always be how does he line his pockets with as much goverment funds as possible.
SR hasn't written anything new about Akpabio. What will make news is to hear that Akpabio one day decided to live only on the salary and allowances his office is entitled to.
