Yes, there was a particular year the list was released towards the end of September. Awardees were asked to report at Abuja for induction, those with admissions and passports were asked to submit them for UK visa and they were flown to the UK after the induction. The rest were asked to wait till January.

PhD stands a better chance of getting Scholarship, but it is all depends on your academic performance.

I can't really remember the year but it was when the scholarship was only for UK.

That was 2017. I was lucky to be an awardee for Masters overseas scholarship.
I had to quickly get another admission for November intake and flew to UK 31st October.

I got rejection email for Cycle 1 in March 2023 which I applied in January 2023... I am thinking three months should be more than enough for them to make a decision.

You might unfortunately not expect the list any time soon as the interviews are not completely completed. Some virtually related interviews are currently been planned but not until then, the waiting time might be delayed.

In any case, I wish the people that are still undergoing their interviews all the very best and also the people that had their interviews already.

Are you sure? I think all interviews has been completed, if u had any glitch during ur virtual interview or missed ur interview or u were not properly attempted to, I don't think there is anything PDTF can do...my two friends suffered this last year and no body told them before they opted for physical interview this year.. one of them logged in for the interview for hours and no one attented to him and that one passed .the the other one was given three dates for his interview and he got really confused... virtual is never the best option though

You are very right. I am one of those that supposed to have virtual interview but I was omitted. I have already given up.

Well, speculations and the trend so far are fuelling the predictions. Last year's list was released about the same time and induction was done virtually on the 18th, coupled with the fact that most admissions would be closing soon for most schools and the anxiousness of some applicants. You really can't blame anyone for being expectant. Definitely, the list will be out.

Her scholarship started in January 2023.. early this year.

Anything could be influenced by the new economic realities, this scholarship could be deferred, anything can happen. Last year is different from this YEAR abeg!!!

We understand things are difficult now but please, our darling daddy Tinubu, don't cancel the PTDF at this point, not when you've gone through the gamut of the process and are at the finish line.

Any change in policy should be from next year.

Please who knows if applications for admission are still ongoing in any of UK universities for Masters program or any other university?

Have u seen the list and ur name is there....pls remove any sucide thought abeg. It's not worth it. None of us will be with them when they are compiling the final list so we can't attest to thier transparency... everything will happen in a matter of milli seconds. When the mail enters. Either you are in or out and life continues. The successful one will go a step further while the unlucky ones will try again. As Human though we are bound to be worried and expectant but getting any scholarship handled by the Nigeria government is a matter of GRACE AND LUCK. Pray that the favour will locate you because so many factors determines success, both physical and spiritual

My brother let's just calm down...I can imagine how high your expectations for the list is. I am anxious too. over anxious dey worry me sef. I was expecting the list for LSS in 2019 like this too, checking Nairaland thread every day...the list came in November 2019. We didn't have induction till a year later during endSars protest. let us just keep vigil till whenever they decide to release the list. Amidst all these predictions though, someone said they are still doing "virtual interviews" I want to believe the person has insider info, but what do I know? when we see the list we see it.

It's like the interview is still going on
