...it shows he is a democrat, a real leader with listening ears that genuinely cares for the masses.

Apparently, Tinubu is indeed closer to the people. He understands the pain hence act to relieve it.

Someone I know who paid the final part of his daughter's M.Sc school fees in the UK shortly after the subsidy removal & floating of naira; the daughter had to call him specially and started raining prayers on his head. She told him that some of her school mates who did self-sponsored japa are stuck and are contemplating dropping out of their programmes.

The thing really affect people gan o
I no even too get pity for those ones. They were part of the problem.

You know what they used to do? When it's time to pay school fees of say 2k pounds, they send it to Nigeria at like 900 to a naira, collect 1.8m, apply for form A through the banks to pay the fees at 550 to a naira which comes to about 1.1m naira. They keep the remaning 700k. So for every 2k pound they need to pay, the actual money they need is like 1.2k pounds. Now they have to cough out the entire 2k pounds.

That's why they are all crying.

Do u blame them for trying to enjoy what our elites enjoyed for years?

I watched one Kemi Olunloyo's video recently and she talked about the live they lived while schooling in the UK back in the days. She talked about how Bukola Saraki was dating Toyin Ojora and when they fought how Toyin's mum Ojuolape Ojora had to fly to the UK to settle their quarrel. These were teenagers whose parents were accessing pounds through the form A u described above to pay their fees. Dem Fani Kayode, Bianca Ojukwu, Kemi Olunloyo and other children of the elites then. These people don dey spend naija money since they were teenagers

Na when middle class begin emulate dem to enjoy some of those privileges dem block am.

Well, whoever wants to school abroad should pay for it.

Whether it's politicians enjoying it or the middle class, the whole idea of Form A has never made sense to me.

Ideally it doesn't make sense, but in a country where government makes foreign currency available to both Christian and Muslim pilgrims at subsidized rates, u can't fault those interested in foreign degrees for trying.

Alaafin Lamidi must have been rejected in the afterlife. His father was the one that turned Bode Thomas into a dog. How can his offspring be sharing töto with a guy like Portable?

If nnpc maintains pump price, doesn't that mean that subsidy payment has returned?
Because it will be an economic miracle 😁
