What is president tinubu waiting for. President tinubu will be the most wicked president if he is waiting till next year to include the minimum wage in the budget of next year. Things is tough. The current salary is not enough to cater for family. When will he increase the minimum wage

It's not just about implementing a new wage, it's about sustaining it. Idd rather we still chill till the next budget is signed.

Bro it ain't Eastnor anyone out there.
Even businesses has low patronage.
Don't forget, the provision for subsidy ended in June. It wasn't until the end of the year. We are still living the budget signed by senators we elected in the last 4 years.
I'm not happy about this, but then if we Must get it right, we need to do things right

so the right thing is to wait till next year before implementation. We are so wicked in this part of the world. You removed subsidy and the price of petrol increase with over 300 naira. And the price of everything tripled. But we would wait till next year before you do something for your citizen. I wish this country burn before then

It's because unlike you they know that by Law the minimum wage is due for review in January 2024.....reason they are asking government for wage award for the remaining months of 2023.

Again I wish this country burn. I wish the price of dollar continue to increase to over 1000 naira, so that Nigerian will feel more pain, so that they will start revolting and protesting. By then, the country will be uncomfortable for tinubu and all his cabals.

I believe this is how much you can understand things.
But right now.

Nigeria situation is messy courtesy of past leaders especially during the democratic era til date. Piloting Nigeria to a successful landing and setting a standard pace that can become a landmark requires so much wisdom.

We need a decentralized system of govt. power should not concentrate so much at the center.

However, Tinubu can’t just announce the minimu wage. When he’s not the one to pay in eve try state of Nigeria. He needs proper consultations, putting things in place for interventions in case things go wrong in some states.

So many states are struggling to pay the current minimum wage. Nigeria situation is more than minimum wage. What about pensions and gratuities?

A lot of work to be done. And Nigerians can’t be patient no more because our past patience was taken for granted. Buhari has done Nigeria shege with the trillion naira loan his govt was busy looting and using to run the economy.

We don’t have a reliable senate. We have never had them.
