Math gurus in the house, please teach us the easiest way to solve this type of spatial reasoning test questions.

Example, the question accompanying the image below goes:
Which of the following boxes should replace the question mark (?) to complete the pattern?

I observed the positions each of the arrow is facing and I can see that the only one that is missing is the second one which you called B. I have taught quantitative reasoning for long and have seen similar things like this.

Actually, it's the wrong answer. It goes like this:

The direction of the arrows moves 90 degrees counterclockwise.
The order of the colors of the arrows is: black, gray, and white.
Thus, the following arrow in the series must be gray and pointing downwards.
