Hi,Good day. Please my sister is traveling from Nigeria (Lagos) to Canada through Turkish Airlines and she has two stops. Lagos to Istanbul airport ( 1st stop, layover 1hour, 40minutes) then move from Istanbul to Dublin (2nd stop, layover 3hours 30minutes, self transfer, collect and recheck baggage) then move from Dublin to her destination with WestJet. Please does she need a transit visa in this two stops? Please I need help and I will be very grateful, thank you.

She's safe to travel.

But any 2 stopover in the Schengen zone then transit visa is required.

I have transit through Dublin before, thou we did not get off from the plane.
A friend of mine transit through Dublin earlier this year with 3hrs layover and no issue at all.

Maybe the rules has changed.

best to clarify from the airport. Booked toronto to Birmingham last year with a dublin layover. Wasn’t allowed to board. They said Ireland was not part of UK. Lost my money o

Please how did you resolve this matter?
I'm in a similar situation now.
I booked a flight from Lagos to Aberdeen with Turkish airlines. There would be stopovers at Istanbul and Dublin. My flight is in about 4 days and I'm just learning that I need a transit visa to pass through Dublin.
I don't have any transit visa and I don't have the time to apply for one.

Please who has been in this shoe and how can I get out of this mess?
Please help!
