The battle between Ronaldo and Messi fans continues after Al Nassr's shocking loss to Al Taawoun.
After a shocking 2-0 home loss to Al Taawoun on Friday, Al Nassr have already put themselves in a difficult situation to begin their Saudi Pro League campaign.

Al Nassr failed to score despite having star players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, Anderson Talisca, and Marcelo Brozovic on its roster.

Ronaldo and Al Nassr were continuously hindered by Al Taawoun's five-man defense and sure-handed goalkeeper.

Many of Al Nassr's key players were rested after winning the Arab Club Champions Cup which is thought to have contributed to their 2-1 loss to Steven Gerrard's Al Ettifaq on the opening weekend.

Al Nassr fell short of winning the Saudi championship in 2022-2023 by five points.

They now risk falling six points behind the leaders by the end of Matchday 2.
