Everywhere in Anambra is single lane road. Why all this single lane roads?
Why can't soludo build dualized roads for us.
Go to north and see how beautiful roads are being built; dualized roads, well paved with closed gutter and walkway and planting of trees and green fields in all the nukes and crannies in their cities.
Maiduguri is 10 times finer than any cities in Anambra or even East as whole.

You're wrong Awka alone have 7 double lanes including the new Unizik to Isuanocha road Soludo is constructing let me list them, Zik's avenue, Esther Obiakor road from Immigration junction, Awka GRA road, Arroma junction to Federal high Court with the new government house located in that area they're extending the double lane to Ifite, AMC road and the express road

You need to come to Maiduguri or Yola and see how dualized and beautiful their roads are. We might have better and beautiful houses than them but for road network, they are far ahead us.
The Anambra state governor should step up in terms of road infrastructure, very necessary.

The north has been in power for well over 50 years, believe me that counts for something, that is not to absolve our south east governments from blame o! I sincerely believe that lack of funds nor marginalisation are not the only issue plaguing governance in Alaigbo.....sometimes I ask myself, how exposed are our civil servants, what level of training do they actually undergo?..............as for our legislators and political appointees most are in the game for what they can get from it!

I love the pictures of ongoing construction projects going on in onitsha but I am saddened by how ramshackle the whole town\state looks.......it is one thing to open stores/shops attached to your house or fence,it is another thing to project that "illegal structure" 15 -20 feet towards the road or walkway...............I am not against people trying to survive or getting rental income but there must be standards and government must maintain such standards! Those structures get on my last nerves!!.........owners of such structures are aesthetics/environmental terrorists! kudos to soludo for the roads but we need more and more!

Soludo employed 5000 teachers increase workers salary, he is not owing civil servants, pensioners or gratuity, he even cleared pension own by the previous administration and you said civil servants are crying Crying for what if I may ask
Which administration owed pensioners?
Anambra state is among the states that could not fully implement the increase in the minimum wage.

Obiano even provided buses for the civil servants. What is Soludo doing or has done to ameliorate the suffering of the civil servants based on the situation our country is currently in? What of traders? Do you know that wheelbarrow pushers are currently taxed in Onitsha? Kudos to him for employing 5000 teachers. What is he doing to reform the infrastructural decay in some of our schools?

My dear, your ilks may be recruited to display some shameful mediocre roads constructed by quack contractors while throwing a blind eye to reality on the ground.
I want the best for my state and Soludo in all ramifications is not delivering on that and we will keep on demanding that he deliver on his mandate by calling him out.

Lol. I thought you have something meaningful to say.

See let me tell you, forget about these nonsense you posted here. No family in Anambra state that doesn't have one or two persons in the civil service work in the state. A simple phone call to them will tell you all that you need to know.

Until you have something tangible enough to display about this administration, I suggest you stop disgracing us with the mediocre work he is doing here and there.

Come to bridge head and see what we are going through because of nonsense contractors he awarded Niger street and you are here praising him.

The bolded in both posts are truisms that speak to the unfair unlevel playing-field and political-economy that i've been banging on about for nearly a decade now! Also, as Abufo pointed out, our public officials that could have helped make a difference need to up their game in governance and project delivery....and this applies to ALL state gov'ts in the country.

I'm not Uche, I'm not working for Soludo I have tour round the state and he's doing well, most of you seat in one place and be attacking him probably because he spoke against Peter during Presidential campaign, which myself also condemned him, I supported Peter Obi more than most Obidient followers here but when it comes to Anambra it's more important to me more than any politicians, if he's not doing well I will be among those attacking him, no doubt we all have the right to speak out when things are going bad but for now he's on right track base on resources available to him, soon most of the projects will get to advance stages the cynical minds will then appreciate, I went to back of Sir Alex Ekwueme square today I saw massive gully erosion they're working on even today being Sunday the workers were on site, same with the new government house.

If you say so, no problem. Let me put it out here that I am not against Soludo or attacking his administration because of his altercation with Obi. That's not my business because I am not so much interested in what's going on at the Federal level but you see this our Anambra state, things must be done the right way with all the money Soludo is collecting from taxes from all corners of the state with various touts.

Recently he started arresting hawkers saying that they are supposed to be in school. On what grounds was he arresting them? Is our school tuition-free? Who is advicing him?

If we are subjected to the harassment and bullying of these touts, the least we can demand is the best and not mediocre that he is delivering now. So my venting is not out of place bro. He needs to wake up or get ready to be shown the exit door.

I don't know if it will be accredited to him or not but there is improvement in power supply in Onitsha recently. Udo!

Imo state failed woefully as a state, for instance the substandard flyover Okorocha built in center of Owerri has been turned into a market and motorpark , filth and rubbish littering everywhere. Uzodimma has failed imo state, imo state needs to get it right like Anambra, even Abia has elected a technocrat, while imo state has been electing 419 and fraudsters since 1999

Total collapse as in how?Was Obiano the only person that has govern Anambra before? Was the road there before Obiano came and bulldoze them?We must all agree that governance is not all about building roads alone.Obiano came with his own style of governance and have left the stage.let soludo tar all the roads in Anambra
Yes, most of the roads collapse under Obiano and he did only patching on some while he left others.

I just corrected the guy because he was blaming Soludo for bad roads and praising the Culprit which is Obiano.
You can blame Soludo to some limits but you cannot be blaming him and praising his predecessor for our current state of the road.
Soludo deserves to be scored on roads only after his four years.
