Please I need help. Myself and my wife are relocating to Canada in few months time. We're heading to Ontario Canada. Would appreciate if anyone can point out skills we can learn to help get a job there. I'm thinking of driving Uber (but don't really know how it works). But from research I'll need a car of less than 7yrs of production. I'll appreciate if anyone can explain to me properly. And I'll appreciate any handiwork my wife can learn that will help us over there. Thanks a bunch all |

Elboki109:You should have done this before even applying for visa. There's one thing to learn a skill,it's another thing to perfect it. My own is that Canada is not smiling right now, citizens are complaining bitterly and crying due to high cost of living especially housing and food/ groceries and taxation. Don't follow what Nigerians say, hear from the horse's mouth. Google Canada rising cost of living or go to tiktok, search Canada housing problem and hear what they're saying. You have to be prepared and have something that will give you a moderate income immediately you arrive Canada. Or else you and your family will be living with the rest of African refugees and homeless people who refused to plan well before travelling. |

Elboki109:On the Uber. Depending on the city you’ll settle. If Toronto you need a car not more than 5 to be able to drive all around Toronto. 8 years but excluding downtown, mississauga and Brampton. If other cities like London then 10 years newer is accepted in those places. To be eligible to drive Uber. You need to have a G license. To get your G license, process your driving extract from Nigeria. Prepare for G1 and sit for the exam immediately you arrive ( you can download G1 prep rest ) to study for the test, your extract help you skip G2 and go for the full G. Before going for the G, you can book one or two classes with driving instructors to help familiarize with Ontario driving and rules. Also consider using YouTube “type G driving test’ in whatever city you are taking the test. You can also consider going to smaller city to take the test to guarantee you make it on the first try. You can get your full license within first month following this step. Goodluck |
