In times like this, should we keep professing the negative?
It Is already hot, let's give people hope🙏
My dear, I wish there would be that hope, but d chances are very very slim. Go to different hospitals and see abandoned patient all bcs of d level of hunger and poverty in d land. Infact some hospital are rejecting some patients they feel that d family won't be able to afford any bill, doctors are now writing drugs instead of administering d person in d hospital.
Nigeria is in a very very sorry state right now

So it turns out we were actually living fine pre-May 29 2015 when a bag of 50Kg rice was N8,000, fuel was N97 & dollar was N215.
But the evil & demonic party came in just to steal, kill & destroy this country. May God punish them.
there is no day that passes that I don't wish we could just reset back to 2014 and prevent this catastrophic mistake. Compared to now, we were enjoying, but we no know. Wetin be japa when dollar was 150 to a dollar? We had it sooooo good, but didn't know. Quality of life was so much better, and there we were erroneously thinking we were suffering then, and could have it better. We didn't know it would get 200 time worse. I was spending tens of thousands of dollars like it was nothing. Moving to Canny for an individual less than 2m. So so sad!

Politicians enjoy nigeria this way
So do the people. It's why when I say that people should vote for parties other than APC, PDP, LP and even NNPP, as I did in the last election, I get told that either I am excusing evil, that I am wrong for sitting on the fence, and that I am really an APC or PDP or LP supporter trying to take votes away, or, in one case, I get people planitevly asking 'Who shall we vote for'.

Also, we got a problem here, me included. We like to talk about the problems of Nigeria, but we won't get up, join a party, form a party and change things.

Third, we defend our chosen side. I see people defend their APC, PDP or LP pol, and label everyone else as corrupt.

Finally, at the end of the day, we are not a realistic people. Actual development always means some form of suffering before benefit. But we somehow think that we have enough money from oil and we should ;live like Saudi...which produces ten times more, and has a population that is less than that of the South east, or even South west.

Nigerians prefer it this way. Alternative is hardship before benefit. We don't want that, so we just hope they share the money 'equitably'.

It's just a game politicans play. PDP played it, Obi played it, APC is playing it now.

The only way out of poverty for Nigeria is to remove subsides on everything, suffer some years of hardship, while the subsidy removal hopefully attracts investors that would have to build things from scratch, force millions of kids into vocational and technical education, and find ways to make using our raw materials to make goods and services for the world...in the next ten to twenty years.

Russia is a rich nation. Russia is an industrial nation. In 1929, it was worse than some African countries. Stalin then came in and introduced a crash programme on industrialization, because either they did that, or the West would crush them badly. By 1961, Russia was sending men to space...a country that some 40 years earlier was so backward.(Russian troops entering Germany in 1945 could just not understand why Germans would leave their nice country to come and invade their broke ass poor country on seeing how nice poor people's houses in Nazi Germany looked like compared to their hovels at home)

South Korea is a rich nation, and went from being broke and worse than Senegal in 1961, to ultramodern nation by 1978, because Park, their army ruler, did it the hard way. A generation worked long hours for poor pay and dirty work to build the base for the industrial paradise that South Korea is today.

Here in Nigeria we don't want to suffer. That's why when some corrupt politcan comes and promises us to lift us out of poverty, we believe, and vote for them, yes including APC. The people who believe in Biafra want biafra so that they can have more money to share among themselves, not because of any ideology. Most Nigerians believe that if we share the money, we would all have enough...at best we would get a few thousand naira for the year.

We keep not wanting to face the truth of development. Since independence, we have laboured under the delusion that we just need to share the money more 'equitably', that we are rich, that we should live like the Saudis. Meanwhile, we don't even produce up to one third of the oil the Saudis produce...yet we want to live like them.

But point the above out, you are a government supporter, you are excusing government.

IUntil this APC government, the other parties, and Nigerians wake up and face truth, we are going to remain poor...and broke. Sharing oil money. Instead of using what we have to make something for the world.

I don't wish that it would have to take a Nigerian version of Stalin to wake us up.
keep quiet with your silly rehashed rhetoric. Nigerians don't want to suffer you say. We have been enjoying since 1960 abi.

Just be spewing theoretical bullcrap, that is not based on any smidge of reality.

Many would not be able to afford their house rent right now.
Many are sick but can't go to d hospital right now
Many can't go for checkup
Many are at d mercies of quack nurses bcs they can't go to d hospital
D issue we attended to right was a very pathetic issue and if care is not taken d family will loose their son bcs of no money in d family, d ones doing business are out of business while d first son 5hat was working has stopped work. Infact MD has to pity them small
Though not a fan of senator Sabi but what he said is virtually truth

you have none. It was just crassly and crazily insensitive and almost borderline insane to say Nigerians don't want to suffer. The overwhelming majority of Nigerians were born into, live, eat, drink, sleep and wake in suffering. This has been the case for generations. Get your head out of your ass once in a while.

Of all the statements you have made here, that one is by far the most morose. Nigerians should die to please you and your theories since despite everything thus far you can still open your mouth waaaa and type that Nigerians don't want to sacrifice or suffer. Only thing Nigeria has given me as a person is a nationality, aside that nothing else.

I am not supporting the govt but let's be realistic how many ppl can afford 8k in 2015 undecided? Nigeria is in deep shit today bcs OBJ, GEJ, and PMB all failed in diversifying the economy to meet up the 21st century standard. The world has move beyond the industrial age and this is the reason many African countries are struggling. I prayed that PBT won't repeat the same. In a nutshell African leaders lack visuon
Let's say there are 2 one-stop mega plazas opposite each other with petrol stations in front of each.
U need to change ur dollars, buy a bag of rice and refill ur tank.

Plaza A sells at this rate:
Rice:. 8,000
Dollar: N215
Petrol: N97

Plaza B sells thus:
Rice: 40,000
Dollar: N850
Petrol: N617

Which of the plaza will u patronize?
Please be honest.

Sorry old boy, but if you are so upset about my simple comment, to the point that it angers you, it shows that you are allowing your self to be falling under my power.

Don't let this site affect you too much. Breathe, have fun, and relax.

And I still stand by what I wrote. Cry, but at the end you get hurt, I get the marks.

Before the 2015 elections, you had this prayer on your lips, then Buhari happened.

January 2023, you prayed to never experience anything worse than Buhari, Tinubu happened and people are already starting to miss Buhari.

As long as we all keep praying while making terrible electoral choices, we will definitely be worse than what Shehu Sani is talking about.

And that's not negativity speaking.

Your submission will not work bcus the evil APC party is not structured to deliver good governance.

They only came together to oust PDP now all that matters is to keep power at all cost.

I don't expect much from a govt that came to power through electoria criminality.
