Ijaws have over 200 villages and settlements in Edo State.

The over 200 Villages and settlements are divided into 5 different Ijaw Kingdoms known as Egbema, Furupagha, Olodiama West, Okomu and Gbaraun Kingdoms.



The Ijaws of Edo are bordered by Delta Ijaws of half Egbema by the West, Gbaramatu Ijaw Kingdom of Delta by the South, Ondo Ijaws of Arogbo Kingdom by the North, and the Bini of Edo by the East.




Remove Ijaws of Edo and Edo would be removed from oil producing State.
Okomu National Forest that Edo State rely on is also in Ijaw Nation.



Where Ijaw occupy in Edo State is bigger than Anambra State.
