It was later I understood that what gave them value is their off the ball movements which meant a lot to the success of the teams.

The fact is that is absolutely not glaring after 2 games. Only metric he's excelled in under 2 games is most fouled player.

We should not also pretend that he's not upsetting the balance of last season. He has. I don't need Zinny to play before i admit that aspect.


As for this off the ball movement you keep hammering, I don't want to argue. But it is not true. Even Chelsea fans go laugh you if they hear it. But we meuve.

The other side of it is that every opponent preparing to face us are rewarded fat with full 90mins play of all forms of Saka to analyze how to keep him quiet. Since MA realized Odegaard doesn't need to play full 90, that should be extended to Saka as well. We should not repeat last season mistake with such a key player.

Saka is arsenal’s best player , He’s one of the highest paid players in the team( If not the highest paid sef) . There’s no way any coach in his right senses will be giving him less minutes in the EPL and UCL except he’s out of form ,there’s an injury scare or we are already leading by at least 2 goals margin before the last 20 minutes of the game.

You shouldn’t have issues with Saka playing as much as 75 minutes per game. It’s Saka featuring in carabao cup and FA cup that we should frown at; not him doing what he’s being paid to do in the EPL and UCL.

There are some matches were you'll play poorly and you'll still wallop the opponent.

Football is funny like that and you know that reason why I'm always emphasizing about process and fundamentals.

Since you mentioned metrics and two games, I hope you won't be annoyed to know that the bolded is not just where he excelled, he also won the most duels ( in both games, and also has covered most distance.

That was a money issue. Not wenger. But i agree that he was stubborn o. But it was majorly was was given to him.

Like Klopp, he doesn't believe that any player should be overpriced. While Klopp was flexible with time, Wenger was very rigid and we as club paid dearly for it

I have detailed this issue on our previous thread I think during Wenger’s final years. Many of these cats don’t understand the role Wenger played in making Arsenal financially stable and valuable post Highbury.

Do these guys realize there was 0 dime from public or outside private interest when we got 390M loan to build what is originally known as the Ashburton Groove but assigned Emirates. The entire funds came from Arsenal.

I didn't say the bold in my post neither did I imply it. All I said was Saka was Arsenal's best player and we've seen how we struggle in the front most times he's not playing. If there's a Saka replacement who can at least give us 60 to 70 per cent of what Saka is offering us, then why not? Such a player can even bench Saka in some not-so-high-profile games .

Until we get such player. I'm afraid u will get to see Saka start and play most minutes of most of the EPL and Champions league matches.
