Park well do your research. Similar thing played out in Chinese league few years back. Everyone is motivated by money. Even during corona virus year, WWE superstars were eager to go wrestle in Saudi saying they need to feed their family. Oil money is the motivating factor. Ronaldo yes has some influence but don't over hype it. RONALDO will forever live in MESSI's shadow for life. Shootings here and there in USA and their apparent little interest in soccer just like it played out in China(lack of much interest in soccer) is in a way a minus to the league. Everyone worldwide is more interested in King Messi to perform one magic or wonder everyday because he is unique. Hate him or love him, he is THE GOAT

When I read comment like this I feel people often times closes their eyes to the truth.

We are all talking about the Saudi league because the League organizing committee have a well structured plan to promote the league.

Look at the recruit they are making ( which include getting Ronaldo, Neymar, Benzema and the likes, look at how they have been advertising the league, look at the manner in which they've been signing player, no 2 Saudi team have bid for the same player.

They have been planning this huge take over for years and one of their plan is to attract the biggest name in football.

If they didn't have a great project do you think they would have attracted Ronaldo in the first place.

We love Ronaldo but saying Saudi league I'd thriving only because of Ronaldo is nothing but self deceit.
