Russia must respect Africa's sovereignty and never participate in boosting military regimes in Africa. Russia must focus on building business, economic relationship with Africa, and have security co-operation with legit governments not rogue regimes. Russia must not be seen to be supportive of rogue regimes, if Russia has problems with European nations, he should deal with them outside of Africa. We don't want to be part of any proxy wars between Russia and France or whoever. African union, ECOWAS and regional bodies should be respected and allowed to solve regional issues. It is with shocking news today that I read Argentina, Ethiopia,Egypt, Iran and Saudi Arabia have all been invited to join BRICS while Nigeria should the so called giant of Africa has been ignored. Now I don't know is Nigeria indeed applied to join and was ignored or we didn't apply to join at all.
Whatever is the case between both situation is a very sad one indeed. How do we explain Ethiopia joining BRICS and Nigeria being ignored? Its a big blow to those managing our foreign policies and Tinubu administristion .
This would have been an opportunity to diversify our reliance on USD and reset our trade partners to offset our global trade deficits with better trading partners but of course as with all things in Nigeria lately it's always a bad omen.
I'm just tired of hoping this country will get better one day but the trend is not looking good at all.

I could add that India is sending Chandrayaan-3 to the dark side of the moon while we are eating agbado but I don't feel the need to rub it in at the moment, having not fully recovered from the disappointment at losing.

It won't shake the American economy because there are other relatively strong currencies used simultaneously..... China can used their currency because they have two currency system..... Look at the trade deals between BRICS and developing economies.... It's literally nothing because majority of their trade are the technological power house of the west....

I'm 100% sure China is much more developed than the US, you just need to visit both countries to see this.
