They live in multidimensional poverty but economically engaged and earning income?
Yes. Multidimensional poverty is different from monetary poverty. Hope you know that?

This is a fantasy.
Not even Asian "miracle" economies were able to achieve such dramatic feat within a short period.
I suppose NBS just changed their definition of unemployment to push out this bogus figure.

That is based on ILO standards.

The truth is that what we suffer from is underemployment not unemployment. It is extremely rare to find a Nigerian who does not do something or the other to earn a living.

The news is real. The methodology changed to align with that of most of the rest of the world.

There are different types of unemployment. Please read up on it. You are not really unemployed under natural unemployment

Oga keep quiet. France, China, US, Australia don't know how to use that other type of unemployment in their rating, right?

That's impossible. If employment is 60% you won't even be safe enough to type this from where you are in Nigeria.
Nowhere in the world is unemployment even 50%. 60% would mean most people starve to death.

A villager in Gombe may not have access to good healthcare (only agbo and bitter leaf) but be making hundreds of thousands yearly from his farm?

Clear now?
