Nigeria on forward march.

Lazy youths should repent and take their jobs serious so they'll not fail job interviews, lose their jobs and suffer serious poverty in old age after wasting your youth on useless unproductive activities and horrible mindset. No govt is doing you, you are the one doing yourself and you will suffer if you don't change right now.

There's job now and when you're recruited, don't go there only to chew gum, toast girls, form nonsense empty-headed fine boy/girl, gist, gossip, slander, charge your phone and use their internet subscription to download/watch porn, telemundo, insult , cyberbully and play all day on Nairaland and other social media platforms.

O ye lazy Nigerian youth, quit laziness, late-coming, unpatriotic actions and pocket your nonsense arrogance, bigotry, hatred and entitlement mentality so you can learn, be productive and keep your job

Patriotic Nigerian youths will always give their best! Shout out to all diligent and patriotic youths out there. You are doing well. God bless you. God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!

Dude stop the misinformation naaaaa. The reason for this revised figure is because the definition of unemployment has been revised. Before the data was gathered based on the definition that someone who is unemployed is one has not job that can make him work 40hours a week or more. The new definition is an unemployed person is one without at least an hour job.
Please tell people the truth oooooo

It was ILO that reviewed the definition of unemployment and the real sentence is that our unemployment figures fell by 4.1% and not falling to 4.1%

I also found the figure suspicious. I was just pointing out to your assertion that Nigeria has the highest unemployment figure in the world.

I said and I quote "just a few weeks after it was published that the country HAD the highest unemployment rate in the world". This is 100% true. Earlier this month, World Of Statistics posted that the country's 33.3% unemployment rate was the highest in the world as of that day.

If you have to make things up.. why use figures that are so ridiculous.
Not even canada of 36 million people can boast of this percentage of unenployment, Nigeria of 200Million now talking of 4.1% ??

That's impossible. If employment is 60% you won't even be safe enough to type this from where you are in Nigeria.
Nowhere in the world is unemployment even 50%. 60% would mean most people starve to death.
are you we are safe like this?.

There is no miracle the drug barons money cannot do. Even the bureau of statistics is now dishing out oluwole statistics in the country where businesses are scaling down operations and some are leaving. So who is now employing on a massive scale that made the value to fall Apc and their propaganda machine will not cease to amaze.

And that is one thing fueling the death of the economy; insincerity and dishonesty on the side of the government. Nobody trusts the government anymore, people choose to believe rumours instead as they are more likely to be or become true; speculation rules the economy
etrange:
From 33.3% percent to 4.1% in 3 years? Just a few weeks after it was published that the country had the highest unemployment rate in the world? I'm all for the positivity, but this one is a bit hard to believe. If there was such a sharp drop in unemployment rate in such a short period of time, it couldn't have gone unnoticed by the citizens. People would have felt the impact. The worst thing we can do as a people is churning out false statistics. That can only lead to a silent death.

Well, I don't need to be either of those 2 things to know the truth.

Only last year, KPMG stated that unemployment i"n Nigeria was at 37.7% and projected to reach 40.1% by 2023. So either somebody forgot to add the "0" after 4 or deliberately removed the "0"

So where did the phantom jobs come from?

Except you are now considering those of us who are now remote workers working for foreign clients. This cannot even rightly be considered in the figures because we are not actively contributing to the GDP.

Until you show us your own credible stats and data, you don't know any truth, all you know is your own personal opinion and your opinion, in this case, is absolutely pointless and irrelevant.

Okay. Now I get it. NBS changed its methodology of calculating unemployment figure....I get it now. So once you are engaged in one form of employment, business or skill you are adjudged to be employed.

But is that the standard practice everywhere in the world?
abeg I'm not supporting them
