Marvel really bleeped up yet people love the movie. Wakanda was supposed to be a modern and futuristic place only for them to be using spear, thatched roof and combat to determine their leader. Okoye with her big head using spear called Gun primitive grin

All jokes aside, i wish i was in the movie industry, I’d have made a kick-ass action flick out of all these stories.

The world watched countless tales from Greek and Norse mythology and it won’t be bad if they see new tales from African mythology
It won't attract audience and make money.

As usual the Nigerians on this thread lacks sense of reasoning. So you cannot see he was comparing both countries when it comes to reporting crimes and having a database. Does your country have any reliable database talkless of knowing statistics of reported domestic abuse?

Nigeria's official database and collation body is the Nigeria Bureau of Statistics: https://nigerianstat.gov.ng/elibrary. All in one place, with year-on-year reviews.

Click on the drop-down menu then select what data analysis you require.

On the contrary, your own media reports that the ones collated by your government are false. Which makes the data touted false and whitewashed since they are twice as bad as documented.

And South Africa's official data website is inconsistent too: One in 2020, skips 2021 to go to 2022.
No infographics, not to mention one which is animate and can be interacted with. Then another agency reports totally different figures: https://www.statssa.gov.za/?cat=26 .

You missed the point bro. That question can only arise if you are looking to buy comics in the 90s cos it's obvious that you and that nigga aren't on speaking terms so I don't see what merits small talk between you.

To answer your question though, some of my classmates bought comics aplenty in the late 80s and 90s especially the ones into drawing. I remember one nigga Eugene that could recreate any comic perfectly right from Primary 2 and always brought new comic to school to sketch out the pictures. That nigga was a genius. So comic was not beyond us, and it wasn't expensive either cos that Eugene no even get money, he was adopted by his aunty who wasn't too well off, but he had new Marvel or DC comic every week. I guess photocopiers reproduced the originals for mass consumption.

Lol ive always been a comic book nerd sef. My mum would travel to Londom for work a couple of months a year, and she would bring back sequential comic issues, keeping me current to the point where I followed Death of Superman, Xfactor to Factor X, Age of Apocalypse storylines in the mid 90s in primary school.

Also, there was a huge market for comic books at Ikeja Under Bridge, literally on the roundabout, for like 10 bucks per issue, and they used to bring them in bales.

Even now gaan sef, I still carry my love for comics for head. Just that I don't have time to follow storyline these days. If anybody thinks they're trying to catch me out, I laugh in genoshan.

Added to this, Nigeria began digitising its reportage of its official statistics in 2012, with crime rates as far back as 2007 published too. Sometimes biannually.

By contrast, South Africa only began digitising its report of crime rates in 2017 (the same year the media also began complaining its crime rates are underreported).

You'd find proofs in the respective countries' official database websites I shared.

We have our challenges - many actually, but where we've made considerable improvements, I'd point it out.

This issue continues to plague Tobi and rub her of medals. She has strong finishes when she doesn't start late. I watched the race and it was disappointing to see because she can do better than 6th.

Tobi wasn't particularly received well because of her recent charge as she was booed by the fans when her name was announced, I don't know if that messed with her and contributed to the late start.

......Receiving the UAE Ambassador, the President directed that issues affecting relations with the Emirates Airline, and issuance of visas to Nigerians should be “immediately’’ resolved, emphasizing that he stands prepared to “personally’’ intervene.

“We are a family with the UAE, we only live in separate rooms, but we are in the same house. We should look at the issues as a family problem, and resolve it amicably. As you know in every family, there are peculiarities. You can have an erring son, or daughter, but we must work together. We need to agree on core aviation and immigration issues," the President stated.

The Ambassador of UAE said he already sees himself as a “Nigerian’’ considering the historical antecedents of the country, its long-standing leadership role in Africa, and its reputation for hospitality to strangers.

"Since I arrived in the country, I have been working on 24 agreements. We are getting somewhere. These are small issues, all within a family, and they will be resolved. I am grateful to be here in Nigeria. I am also very grateful to meet His Excellency, President Tinubu, who is a great leader in Nigeria, and Africa. Please accept me as a Nigerian and consider me a member of your team," he appealed.

Nigeria bureau of statistics with a fake website that doesn't work lmao. Go ahead and show us domestic abuse and rape cases for 2021 and 2022 from that website you shared. Your country doesn't have any database or record keeping. They can't even call your cases underreported because they are no records or data whatsoever.

Instead of going to Illorin, it's better to join hands with those advancing the course of science in the world. That's a sure way to cut off the pillar of support for these animals.

A religion that has no pillar of support to rest on will soon die.

Those Igbo people mocking the Yoruba people can continue. When the calamity called Islamist extremism comes knocking, it doesn't care about your tribe or ethnic group once you don't practice Islam the way the terrorists like.

The official divorce rate as of 2016 still stood at less than 2% when any Nigeria you ask knows that cannot make sense even if you rewound time back to the 80s in that country. undecided

What's that methodology bros?

In most developed countries, they tabulate the number of people collecting Govt unemployment benefits, and they do a survey of tens of thousands of households.

We have already failed on the first methodology. On the second methodology, if the census takers don't chop the money and fake the results, our youths will tell them they are employed while making small chops

I guess these girls making small chops and making N10k per month are employed then

How exactly did we fail the first methodology?

Don’t you see how ridiculous you sound? You alleged you don’t know the methodology that was used and in the same breath said the methodology used by NBS is a failure.

Never seen a more contradicting statement in my entire life.

actually you're the one who lack any sense of reasoning, talkless of having the sense of a stray dog, to know when the master is telling it to shut up and stop barking.

He didn't compare any country. The moniker I quoted clearly stated South Africa/Africans report crimes, only for disstroy_ to show her South Africa/Africans don't even report crimes the way she thinks they do. Having a database or any data base doesn't even come close to it.

So, my simple minded friend, if you want to continue to sound like someone who is moody because she's experiencing menstrual cramps, by all means, do so but don't let common sense fly over head. Cheers.

Some jokes writes themselves. A citizen of a country that has no database and fraudulent statistics saying another country with database is underreporting lmao. Same way a Nigerian was arguing the other day that Nigeria is safer than America using American statistics and database reports. He was asked to provide Nigeria statistics and came up with nothing.

It seems like some individuals enjoy arguing just for the sake of it. Logically and in every other sense, Nigeria's reported unemployment rate being 4% is impossible. Even though the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) presented this figure, it's hard to accept it as true, and I think most rational people would agree. Supporting the ruling APC doesn't mean blindly endorsing every statement or overlooking obvious flaws from the government or it's agencies.. Critiquing these matters is essential, but I anticipate that you might use my words to continue your sentimental amala turning. Nonetheless, I won't engage in further replies.
