The Fench government has sternly rebuffed the demands of Niger’s coup leaders, firmly asserting that their “putschists have no authority” to issue directives to the French ambassador in Niamey.

The military faction, which seized control in Niger on July 26, had taken the audacious step of granting the French ambassador, Sylvain Itte, an ultimatum of 48 hours to vacate the nation.

“The request made by the putschists has been duly acknowledged by France,” the French Ministry told AFP.
However, France promptly dismissed this appeal, underscoring that the coup leaders hold no legitimacy in making such a demand.

The appointment and presence of the ambassador, as emphasized, are solely under the jurisdiction of the duly elected and legitimate authorities of Niger.

The statement from France said, “The putschists do not have the authority to make this request, the ambassador’s approval coming solely from the legitimate elected Nigerien authorities.”

With unwavering resolve, the French Ministry further iterated that their embassy’s operational status and security considerations remain under constant assessment.
It went further saying “We are constantly evaluating the security and operating conditions of our embassy,”

Niger ordered the French ambassador to leave Niamey

The Nigerien military government had on Friday issued an order to the French ambassador in Niamey Sylvain Itte to leave the country within 48 hours.

Their proclamation was rooted in the alleged lack of response from the French ambassador to a ministerial summons, along with alleged divergent actions undertaken by the French government that were deemed to run counter to Niger’s interests.

What the government in Niger says
It stated thus, “the refusal of the French ambassador in Niamey to respond to an invitation from the minister for a meeting Friday and other actions of the French government contrary to the interests of Niger”.

This diplomatic move follows a series of demonstrations against France in the aftermath of the toppling of President Mohamed Bazoum’s regime by the Nigerien military. President Bazoum and his family have remained detained since their ousting.

The military leadership firmly contends that Paris is aspiring to militarily intervene in Niger with the intention of reinstalling Bazoum.

Moreover, they openly denounce the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), painting it as a pawn in the hands of France, the erstwhile colonial power in the region.

In response to the coup, ECOWAS imposed a set of substantial economic sanctions on Niger, reserving the option of employing armed intervention to reinstate constitutional order.

Within Niger’s borders, France has stationed approximately 1,500 troops, a contingent deployed to combat the persistent threat of jihadist groups that have sown turmoil not only within the country but across the broader Sahel region for an extended period.

France is right!

Niger coupists have lule pii . The disgrace of these coupists will teach the other impostors that they will not be tolerated. If you want power, remove uniform and go form or join a political party and canvass for votes to win an election and legitimacy in a democracy.

The moment those who jinxed Mr Obi, Mr Nnamdi Kanu, GEJ, Alhaji Atiku, Trump, Wagner etc with their bad luck of support started supporting the coupists, I knew they have been jinxed. Nobody or no organisation this unpatriotic bitter people support ever succeeds. Check my signature for free stuffs!

Niger is a sovereign nation and have the powers to expel diplomats if need be…… France should recall them at least for their own safety…… The Juntas may not be the legitimate leadership but for now, they’re in charge….. 🤷🏾‍♂️

This is getting interesting…….

I've said it before and I'm saying it again.
Nigeria will never go to War with Niger. France better find an amicable way to settle with them as our African Brothers.

Intelligent People know that the deceitful IPOB Media have been the ones posting things to paint President Tinubu bad! Always trying to Create Enemity where there is non. Look at how so hard they have been concocting Satanic Deceiful Stories over Stories in their demonic Frantic Efforts to Push Northerners against Yorubas, look at how the shouted that Tinubu wants to Fight Niger because they are HausasFulanis only for Emir of Sokoto and Abdulsalami to Prove them wrong by showing that Tinubu urged them to use all brotherly means to settle with the Coup Plotters. Look at how they jubilated all over the Internet saying Atiku and Kwakwanso are now partnering against the Great President Tinubu, only for Kwankwaso to pay allegiance Homage Visit to the Great President Yesterday.
grin Then I started seeing them here saying "Smmsh.. all Politicians are the same! Kwakwansho is as Corrupt as Tinubu, etc."

Come to think of it, that Kwakwasho Guy is the next President of Nigeria. Doubters should go and write Today's date down. The guy is just so wise that he knows Tinubu is a Promise Keeper come rain come shine. He has seen that if he could get the visionary President Tinubu to Promise to hand over Power to him after his 8 Years, Tinubu shall surely do so. And from all indications, just like Tinubu unpolluted Muslim Faith that respects Sanctity of Human Life Kwakwasho is not a wicked Blooth-thirsty Man that would encourage killing of Non-Muslims like Buhari and El'Rufai did. So, Tinubu is Guaranteed to Happily Hand over Presidency to him because both of them have proven with their Governorship Era that they both Prioritize Development of all Nigerians and Nigeria without allowing themselves to be turn into Beasts that encourage wanton Slaughtering of Human Lives under myopic claim of being Muslims. They have Proves that being a Muslim doesn't make one a senseless Killer and Anti-Humanity Beasts as we witnessed from the past Administration.

Because of what I noticed about these 2 Great Men, I myself have started paying in Muslim way, bowing to our Creator because it is in the Bible.
If this Partnership between Kwakwasho and Tinubu continues, then it is 1Million % Guaranteed that Kwakwansho is the next President of Nigeria. He has outsmarted Atiku and Obi already in Recognizing the Greatest Value of Ashiwaju as a Deal-Keeper that never deceives those that Aligns with him.

If he rewarder Gadunje that he shouldn't(even Gadunje Kano People rose to prevent Gadunje's elevation to APC Chairmanship) despite the Uproar, don't you think he would do everything and anything for Kwakwansho who he loves so much? Tinubu was so impressed about the Development of Kano that Kwakwansho did as Governor, which made him to Love him so much ever since then. He knows Nigeria would experience Greater Development just like Lagos did after he handed over to Fashola. Henceforth, when you see Kwakwansho, say a Bigger "Your Excellency!" because you are seeing Nigeria's next President!

France go and fight Niger.
Stop trying to create division between African countries to fight for you.
Time of colonialism is over. Every country has a right to choose whom they will relate with and not.
