In the past, I didn't bother to check whether petrol station meters are correct or tampered with. I will just buy any amount I want and move on. But you will hear bus drivers saying that so so so fuel station has good meter while some others have tampered meter and I will be wondering how they're able to observe such little issues. Today, I have become vigilant. I know petrol stations to avoid at all cost. There are some you will buy fuel of 3k and your meter guage will still be pointing at zero

Worse case scenario is to experience traffic gridlock these days. They're repairing my road and blocked one lane. Coupled with inpatient bus drivers. Then imagine buying fuel of 5k but before getting home you start seeing the yellow indicator light again .

Meanwhile we buy 600/lt in Owerri.

You truly understand my scenario bro, I swear I couldn't go out today because of the fear that, how can I buy 6k fuel while coming home yesterday and with less than a 3klm journey to my house and I will go out and buy another 6k fuel.

This government and those fuel attendant don really show us shege banza

And what they are selling is between 0.7 to 0.8 in actual liters.

To fill a 5l gallon you will need aleast 6L

Let make use of the best deal

6 X 610 = 3660 ÷ 5 = 732

So in actual sense its N732 a liter as against N610.

Ubsubsidized fuel in 2012 was N138 and also about N140 in 2016 when buhari removed subsidy.. Ask ursef why it is over N600 now after 8yrs of buhari rule?
So it's not just about subsidy removal but why is d ubsubsidized price this high really?

Actually 99.9% of petrol stations do it as I was told by a reputable source. He says no petrol station owner can make profit without adjusting the metre. He cited the volatility of fuel and also the fact that not all the volume that leaves the depot is emptied into the reservoir (for various reasons). According to him, it is not a question of who doesn't do it, but to what degree?

AA Rano, NIPCO and a few others seem to be fair in their dealing, at least in my location.
