Hot news in recent days, BRICS will add new member set later in January 2024. in the summit BRICS 15th in Johannesburg South Africa last week, they announced the admission of six members, it is Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Argentina and UAE formally join in the group jaunuary 1 2024. No sir. I don't, I'm still a neophyte as I haven't gotten to the stage yet. I recently started the core content mentorship and I'm still in month 1. I'm taking my time as I don't want to rush through them. although I have gone through the market maker primer and series, and also mastering high probability scalping. started the 2022 mentorship but was kind of difficult for me so I stopped at episode 9.

I will try this too... I will enter once the price has cleared all the stop losses above the High and closed back below the high.

As for me, I'm sticking out with ICT Concepts, there are only two options for me, either I succeed or I succeed. failure is not an option. I don't care how long it will take me to master ICT Concepts but Imma stick with it or I give up on trading of which I know I can never do that. I've watched all the interviews that ICT did on some of his profitable students (paladin, jadecapfx, meeren, and Alex). what intrigues me is that none of them mastered his concepts within a year. it took an average of 3 to 4 years for them to find their consistency in the markets. So this is a journey for me.

This same thing made me lose an account. In a simple definition "no trades should carry a floating loss greater than or equal to the daily drawdown ".
If you have a 10K account and 250 is the daily drawdown (-5%) ; "9750", your open trades must not let your equity drop to 9750.

The balance based drawdown is just a name for adjusting were your total loss can be for the day or the next day, don't read too much meaning to it. Many mods fail to explain it this way, I don't know if they like it when people blow an account.

If you had success before with the system, maybe, your stop loss needed to be wider or you needed to avoid trading at certain areas.

Also, how many pairs were you trading?

What is the nature of the correlation between the pairs you traded?

This information will help you and everyone else learn from your mistake.

Zedegit was harsh with his message but here's what I understood from him and how you may apply it....

Imagine you were to give out signals to your friends and family members based on your acct before you trade.

Write down this signal in your trade journal

Don't send it to anybody.


Now, Keep another journal recording your wins and losses.

If you do this, you would notice that you will become very careful to avoid stupid mistakes because you won't want to ruin your 'virtual signal' business and look stupid.

In fact, you will start looking for reasons not to take a trade and areas to avoid actively.
