this also is partly due to the fact that because of renewable energy, msny countries are not exploring for Oil. In fact it is difficult to get funding in the west for Oil exploration. Due to western wokeness, the major finance houses don’t want to be associated with funding fossil fuel exploration.

Nonetheless, it is good news for us and those still discovering new wells because fossil fuels are not going away anytime soon and when all the ageing wells start to dry up due to lack of investment in new wells, it is those with new productive wells that will benefit.
