If you lived under Shagari, the same complaining you would be doing under Tinubu and Buhari, you go do am under Shagari. Well well.

NPN also rigged elections as well like APC and PDP eventually did. (check out the 1983 elections that were rife with allegations of massive rigging), and the fact of the matter is, the economy also began to collapse under NPN from as early as 1981, with the oil crash of 1982 accelerating the crash.

Also, Shagari was removed by Buhari. Nothing to do with his religion. Everything to do with the corruption. And the fact the economy was in free fall. Back then Nigerians were happy. Of course, we did not know we had entered one chance then....

Coups do not happen because of religion all the time, or even tribe. Or how do we explain a Fulani man removing another Fulani man in 1983. After all, na Muslim now?


You guys should stop crying over this Tinubu win. It happened, me myself as I speak, I don't like it. I have never liked or enjoyed any of our democratic 'victories' since 1999, but since most of my country men vote for PDP and APC, and even PDP candidates and APC candidates that hop to other parties and won't vote for outsiders, I keep my mouth shut and accept fate.

And in a way, we should have gotten rid of Tinubu if Atiku and Obi had for once put aside their egos, and found a way to work together. But no, division happened and APC exploited that division. Here we are.


Maybe the court could do something, but at the end, it's a rerun or an Atiku win.

Shagari that was supposedly fair to all Nigerians could not win elections that easily.

It sounds funny. But the way Nigerian millitary is structured. COUPS can not happen in Nigeria. Not with a president like Bola Tinubu.

Tribalism and disunity will make coup impossible in Nigeria , unless again it's executed by the same tribal personnel of the president .

Example Yoruba Officers carry out coup against a yoruba president

Igbo officers against Igbo President

And Hausa Officers against Hausa President

Nigerians are too disunited for a coup

The disunity in this country will not make any attempt of coup plotting or revolution see the light of the day.
