US and Canada always go overboard in a bid to show their concerns over the finanacial mechanisms of online trading specifically as it relates to their citizens, and in doing so they take off the wheels of these trading organizations through their stringent and burdensome regulations that, by nature, make operating these institutions a cumbersome task. This is why US and Canadian residents are usually exempted by the majority of brokers in the world. I wish MFF had its base in Australia.

At this stage all the information we have is from their statement posted in the early hours of this morning.

I know this news is sending shockwaves through the community, but I want to reassure you that we have sought extensive legal advice on our business model, and how we operate. We want to be clear with you that we are not under the scope of the same action due to the way the business is configured, and the use of a regulated broker to provide market access.

Importantly we do not have detailed knowledge of MFF's business practices to determine whether they were doing things that we simply would not do.

As always we seek to operate within the limits of what is acceptable in law, and we do not push the boundaries of this. Our aim is to provide a sustainable platform on which to grow our community.
