It is very simple. I am not "an extremely strong supporter of Buhari". Yes a single sentence in a post aimed at showing how many passive VOTERS the APC has lost with their failure doesn't indict me as a strong supporter of APC. Any sane mind reading the post can see very clearly that it's a hyperbolic statement just made to add essence to the body of my entire post. Especially when that statement was never been said earlier or repeated again afterwards. I expect that the agenda will continue but if you cannot prove me supporting Buhari just like you all have seen my vociferoucity and passionate support of obi, then it doesn't stand. ![]() I voted for APC but I wasn't necessarily a "supporter" of Obi. "Support" meaning to actively cajole others, to defend the party at all turns, to partake in any form of campaign for them. If I was a supporter, there will certainly be evidences towards that. Not just a simple hyperbolic statement made out of 10000 statements I've made on this forum. |

donjazzet:1. He that killeth by the sword shall die buy the sword. 2. By thy words thou shall be justified and by thy words thou shall be condemned. 3. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. In your case we should consider it's hyperbole, but Dayo's case for example, no consideration. This is some Orwellian animal kingdom rhetoric shit. |

donjazzet:You did not invent English grammar...You claimed to be Buhari's strongest supporter twice, you voted for him twice...One of my relative who was a very loud buhari supporter in 2015 was ashamed of him in 2019 but you still went ahead to vote for him again..Yet you're now claiming your support to be hyperbolic..I can't with this hypocrisy |

Ellexy:What exactly do you mean by this?? Someone who in more than 100 posts repeatedly called people cannibals over the course of 15 solid years cannot be taken at face value?? You're comparing that to someone with a single sentence in a post which is clearly hyperbolic seeing as that sentence never occurs again? ![]() I don't know my bro. You're flipping right now. ![]() |

donjazzet:Your words were hyperbolic yet you voted for the man twice...Even Buhari's family members did not vote for him twice |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by donjazzet: 2:42pm On Sep 01, 2023 |
CAPdan21:Voting for APC twice still doesn't mean one is a strong supporter of them, it could well be one is a strong hater of the main opposition in play and is stuck between the 2 choices. Example, Republicans who might hate trump but hate the Democrats more and would close their eyes to vote the Republican party despite not supporting the frontrunner. |

donjazzet:I don't know what you're trying to defend. You don't need to have many body counts before you're called a murderer. Just one cold body makes you one same with the guy who has many body counts. You can call it hyperbole all you want, all I see is a cheap excuse at not being accountable over your words. |

Ellexy:Nahh, I think you're wrong but we can agree to disagree. I have said this before, someone once asked me if after everything I've seen with the APC now, if I go back to 2015 whether I will still vote for them to which my answer was yes! Because I've countlessly listed the factors behind voting APC and the implications of their loss. Nigeria would have been a one party state without the APC and now we have a relatively fairly good democracy at least when compared to all the ones surrounding us that was listed here yesterday. Obidients made a huge change in our political atmosphere, that that was possible was because we now had a multi-party democracy thanks to 2015's election. |

donjazzet:You mean after everything you've seen from 2015 till this point, if you're giving the chance to go back in time armed with all these knowledge you'll still boldly campaign and vote for Buhari and APC?

Ellexy:How on earth is my point not getting across to you. Without the APC, there will be no obidients. No labor party. It will be a pipe dream. Yes, APC totally failed in governance, but by having 2 strong national political parties, Nigeria's democracy evolved faster and became much stronger. Our electoral laws and guidelines are far more better now because both parties wished to checkmate each other, (even though these guidelines were not followed this time). Let me remind you that PDP held 27 out of 36 governorships. More than 70 senators and more than a third of representatives in the house. PDP had absolute dominance. It wasn't just about the major contestants. If APC had lost, we would have lost the chance to have a healthy democracy because their union will have fallen apart. Today, the PDP is on its way to extinction, the APC itself is also dying or dead, at least in the eyes of the average masses due to their failure .and a new people led oriented movement has grown and is growing in leaps and bounds. That is democracy in action. Nigeria is progressing democratically, slowly but surely. There are lots of state now with multiple strong opposition which means our leaders still have to care about appearances and projections. I need you to try and understand this point. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Spy360(m): 3:20pm On Sep 01, 2023 |
raumdeuter:No. You completely misunderstood me. Let me start by saying based of eoconics, It is a known fact that better business management mean locating industries at the source of the major raw materials to reduce cost of production. So these companies would be willing to do so. Corrupt African leaders have meant that our industries remain dead so that we continue to depend on foreign industries for finished goods whereas if we negotiated we could have those industries located here thereby creating jobs etc. But we lose these jobs, and still have to pay expensively for the finished goods to be brought back. This process favours the West. It is my opinion that Western powers ensure this happens by aiding these corrupt leaders to remain in power. If you want to argue, do it based on the immediate paragraph above (bolded) if that is not your opinion. Stop deviating. |

Mandate wey the same APC don thief ![]() How can you be using hyperbole as an excuse when you'll still support the same people over and over again? You want to eat your cake and have it? Haa wahala dey oo. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:This is the same justification cruel defrauding thieves who the media have affectionately and euphemistically termed "Yahoo boys" or "Gee boys" give as justification. You think Hushpuppi can scrap a website or clone it? He needed greedy web developers who double as UI designers to do so then they get paid. To sleep better at night, they tell themselves, "I'm not the one defrauding these people". Same thing gun runners who sell to street thugs would say. |
