Last UCL team for Arsenal.

Who do you think will walk in to this current Arsenal team without 2nd thoughts? And vice versa too?

Glad we back. Only Arsenal can hinder Arsenal.
Sanchez ahead of Martinelli. Koscielny on bench. O pari

Sanchez for Martinelli

Walcott as Saka competitor/deputy.(from the bench)

Giroud as a good option off the bench and Plan B.

Koscienly as Saliba competitor/deputy

If to say we get this 4 profile of players presently, Allah, league and trophies go sure us!!
Walcott hot that year sha. But competitor is just perfect.

The last Arsenal player to scorer 30 in EPL was RVP. We need a player that can do that again.

Reality check: Top scorers lately have been 15, 16, 14.

Auba was last to do above 20goals.

Can any in the current setup get us Auba goals numbers this season? Be factual pls.

We dey score goals is the more reason we should be having such player on 30+ figures.

4m for holding to palace
Edu and who ever incharge of our negotiation are mad
Holding is better than Maguire and the likes ATM yet he could only command 4m
Same way we sold trusty and turner for cheap

While it is great to have a top striker like Harland that can give us 30+ goals per season, we have been better off when we don't depend on one or two players for goals but have many potential goal scorers.

Last season we scored 88 goals in the Premier League alone from many players, which is better than we have scored in many seasons including RVP and Auba seasons. The best we have had before then was 87 goals in 04/05 season.

So while I don't mind a top striker, I love it when we don't depend on only one or 2 players mostly for goals.

Na demand and supply o.

When nobody wants to buy your products, you have no choice than to sell at ridiculous prices if you must sell at all cost.

Yes Edu and our Marketing dept can do better with negotiation and "packaging" but ultimately depend on the player quality.

The thing about our players is that they are well known compare to these players hidden in many not much watched clubs. Most times people have to depend on YouTube to see their qualities (with their errors hidden), but for Arsenal players... Most managers watch our matches and know them, they know their strength and they also remember their silly errors.

I usually prefer one big team in the group stage. It reduces the number you have to face during knockout
Nwanne, I agree with your sentiment. However, for this year, I would rather those big teams be grouped together but away from Arsenal. There is no reason why we shouldn't navigate the group stages and finish top of this group.

If we play to our strength, this Arsenal team can stand against the big teams and get a result during the knockout stages.

Goals from all angles is the best policy.

The time that Auba scored that amount of goals, we were heavily reliant on him. Anytime he didn't score, we either lose or draw. In fact, sometimes he scores and we still end up losing

Same Thing with Van Persie in his last season with us. Infact, it was a miracle he didn't get injured as he was carrying us knowing how injury prone he is.

I prefer last season policy of different goalscorers(4 different 10+ goalscorers) over one 20+ goalscorer followed by single digit goalscorers. I prefer the Former anyday, anytime, Thrice on weekends!!

I think it is better this way. I would prefer 4 players scoring around 15 goals each than a single player scoring 30 goals. Having goals from different sources will make a team unpredictable and less dependent on a single player. Like what happened some seasons ago...if Auba no score, Arsenal no go score.

Mikel Arteta on how he is tempted to use the same team as last season: “I cannot do that, I have different players. Zinchenko was injured, Granit is not here, so how can I do that? Unless I bring them back.”

“I don't think it's going to happen. It's going to be different because it's a different season and that's the beauty of the thing that I enjoy the most, that it's new and we can do much, much better on a lot of things.”(@Arsenal) #arsenalfanaticsnews

Mikel Arteta on how happy he is with our recent performances: “Really happy, I said against Fulham, and I have watched the game twice, then we played ten times better, six or ten, but we definitely played much better, but it's all about results.”

“One thing is to play really well, the other thing is to compete really well and what we didn't do when we had to compete in certain moments, is the best possible way to do that. We played ten times better, I reaffirm that to you again.” (Arsenal) #arsenalfanaticsnews

Cedric, Pepe, Tavarez are all still with us.

One part of my mind dey pray make we wait till January before letting them go. With the way our defence is eh... Zinny and Tomi are injury prone.

I like it too, but it's the more reason we need a marksman. We are in that level Pep was with City. We need our own Haaland. See how undisputed City is with his presence. He's that 30+ player per season. We can't just be getting 88goals and still be having Highest goal scorers on under 20 goals mark. Naaah. Doesn't scream big team to me.
