jaephoenix:Naaaaaaaaaaaaaa! In a big market you will find different sections: Books, clothes, shoes, jewelries, beauty products, farming tools, animal foods and finally food stuffs. You are like a person who says he has nothing to do with food but is always found in the section of the market where different kinds of foods are sold. On this forum there are numerous sections yet you who claims there is no God always comes into the section where people talking about God often converge. Go and check your profile once again and see the section where you're most active yet you're saying to yourself "there is no God" ![]() |

MaxInDHouse:I believe you can read(hopefully) and write. I said I don't post in threads that does not talk about atheists or atheism. I didn't say I don't post in religious threads. So why do you post in Non-JW threads? |

jaephoenix:I know you're begging for a way to know how you will defend yourself when asked what you're doing on the religion section. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses (witnesses of God) so when anyone talks about God i am automatically invited! ![]() |

MightySparrow:And look! a Phoe·niʹcian woman from that region came and cried out: “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David. My daughter is cruelly demon possessed.” But he did not say a word in answer to her. So his disciples came and began to urge him: “Send her away, because she keeps crying out after us.” He answered: “I was not sent to anyone except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” But the woman came and did obeisance to him, saying: “Lord, help me!” In answer he said: “It is not right to take the bread of the children and throw it to the little dogs.” She said: “Yes, Lord, but really the little dogs do eat of the crumbs falling from the table of their masters.” Then Jesus replied to her: “O woman, great is your faith; let it happen to you as you wish.” And her daughter was healed from that hour on. Matthew 15:22-28 With the highlighted Jesus made it clear that the supernatural gifts to perform signs in his name are reserved for only Israelites! |

MaxInDHouse:I Iike this scripture. Why did Jesus refuse the woman in the first instance? Jesus came to fulfill His Covenant with Israel. Part of which is healing Isaiah 53:5. He also came to put an end to the same Covenant to establish a new or a better one. While under the Old Covenant, He healed only two people who were not children of Israel. Even, in the Old Covenant, any slaves bought with their money shared the same commonwealth. Jesus healed the phonecian women and the servant of the Italian military officer. The woman appealed for mercy, though not covenanted. The other, elders of Israel plead for him. In the New Covenant, The spiritual gifts, spiritual blessings are for all . Jesus came to fulfill Gen. 12: 1 -3. In Jesus no Greek, no barbarian, ,,. Eph.1.3 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: Timothy's father was a Greek, he was imparted by paul. Paul encouraged him to stir up the gift, not office he received. Be must have imparted many others in Rome .Rom.1.11 2Tim.1.6 - Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. Note Rom.1.11 - For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; So, your argument is like you don't believe in the ministry of Paul. Did he make mistake? |

MaxInDHouse:Boss, you are a clown. Mark.9.38 - And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. Mark.9.39 - But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. Mark.9.40 - For he that is not against us is on our part. Before Jesus' ascension, before Holy Spirit came upon people, all people as promised this happened. Before the name was officially given to faithful people. The name didn't fail in the.mouth of a man of faith. Mind you the full identity of this fellow is not known. He was not even sitting with Jesus. The name responds to faith not tribe. That why you are afraid to use the name. If the name didn't fail then, it can't fail now. Maybe, it can fail in the mouth of faithless JW's. ![]() ![]() ![]() cc: acholardey Emusan |

MightySparrow:I know you have nothing tangible to offer other than follow follow so let me enlighten you. Jesus and his disciples weren't preaching to none Israelites when he began his ministry {Matthew 10:6} so there's no way a none Israelite could have become one of his disciples at that time his disciples were just the Israelites they were able to gather through their preaching and teaching. So the man using Jesus' name to perform miracles is CERTAINLY an Israelite who believe in Jesus through his preaching but not one of the twelve Apostles whom Jesus first sent out giving them the authority over demons! Matthew 10:1-5 Do you understand now? ![]() |

MaxInDHouse:All that were living in Israel were Israelites in the time of Jesus, shey? Were were the centurion? Where was Cornelius, where were the Ethiopian eunuch. Where did he get the scriptures he was reading. If non - Israelites were not practicing Judaism and knew nothing about God of Israel? Which gift did Paul ask Timothy to stir up? I once told you here that Acts of The Apostles were records of what Apostles did, not Acts of Proselytes. You were a soldier, as I posted then, if in your set, all the names of your instructors were mentioned in a record, would it be right that you had instructors but not students. You had all students, but all failed to be soldiers? They became soldiers, but none was able to go to war. They got equipped and were in the war front, none was able to fire a shot. You are mumu man. ![]() ![]() ![]() I use the name of Jesus to heal members of my family and few others. The last one that got me excited was a sister that had ovarian cancer. She was using pampers then. By the grace of God, I used the name of Jesus, about four years ago, he answered me, going to five years running no problems. It is in the mouth of faithless JWs that the name of Jesus is ineffective. I am a Yoruba man, black African, the name works in my mouth. Can you see why I cannot abandon my working faith in Jesus and follow one faithless organization? cc: Olaadegbu Emusan Acholardey |

MightySparrow:Hmmmmmmmmmm, when we ask you to give us few moments to TEACH you what is written in the Bible you will say you're Pentecostal. Well let me quote what Jesus said directly to his 12 disciples whom he later called "Apostles", please note that highlighted: So he summoned his 12 disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, in order to expel these and to cure every sort of disease and every sort of infirmity. The names of the 12 apostles are these: First, Simon, the one called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebʹe·dee and John his brother; Philip and Bar·tholʹo·mew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Al·phaeʹus; and Thad·daeʹus; Simon the Ca·na·naeʹan; and Judas Is·carʹi·ot, who later betrayed him. These 12 Jesus sent out, giving them these instructions: “Do not go off into the road of the nations, and do not enter any Sa·marʹi·tan city; but instead, go continually to the lost sheep of the house of Israel[/blue]. Matthew 10:1-6 He sent his disciples to go only Israelites. Why? Because he was sent only to the Israelites and it's after the Israelites have become his disciples that they will take his message to people of other nations. In fact he told them that they shouldn't take any provisions for their preaching and teaching work within the districts of Israel {Matthew 10:9-10} because Israelites has been given a commandment to care for visitors {Hebrews 13:2} but when he wants to send them to go and talk to none Israelites Jesus made it clear: He also said to them: “When I sent you out without a money bag and a food pouch and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?” They said: “No!” Then he said to them: “[color=blue]But now let the one who has a money bag take it, likewise a food pouch, and let the one who has no sword sell his outer garment and buy one." Luke 22:35-36 So the man who performed miracles within Israel is one of the Israelites who accepted Jesus through the preaching and teaching of his disciples not a gentile! ![]() |

MaxInDHouse: John.17.18 - As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. John.17.20 - Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; Your organization has taught you faithlessness. ![]() ![]() He said just as The Father sent Him, He sent the disciples, to communicate the same to as many that will believe in Him. Your inability to contend for faith does not change God. ![]() ![]() ![]() Jude.1.3 - Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() cc: Olaadegbu Emusan Acholardey |

MightySparrow:Of course his father sent him to spread the message to the world so he never stepped his foot outside Israel but preached and taught only Israelites it's his Israelite disciples that he sent to people of other nations. No matter how much you deny it no miracles was performed in the Bible by anyone who is not an Israelite because neither God nor Jesus promised none Israelite such power! ![]() |

MaxInDHouse:. Hahahahaha I am laughing in JWs' paradise's language. John.10.16 - And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. He couldn't have gone round the whole world in a three and half years ministry. He commissioned faithful Apostles to reach faithful people like us to occupy till He comes. jaephoenix:When reading what Jesus said the first thing to apply is discretion, nobody can perform 1/100 out of the miracles Jesus performed so it's not miracles that he was referring to regarding the works his disciples will do greater. • Jesus only preached within Israel but his disciples like Paul preached in many lands where Jesus never stepped his foot all his life. • Jesus didn't establish a single church all his life even the group he was able to assemble dispasssed right in his eyes but his disciples established churches in most cities far away from Israel. • Jesus only preached in his mother's tongue but his disciples preached in different tongues. • Jesus' preaching and teaching only took him to stand before a Roman governor but his disciples stood before the Emperor of Rome. These are the greater works Jesus was talking about not miracles! ![]() |
