Hello

My friend fell out with his agent, and asked her to withdraw his EE profile. Unfortunately, he doesn't even have any details of the application. How does he go ahead with a new profile without the old number?

I wanted to advise him to create a new profile and delete it. So he can create another new one referencing the one he deleted. I am not sure if this is the best advice and decided to seek help from you all instead.

Thank you

Is the agent a licensed immigration consultant with the IRCC? What information/documents does the agent have about you? Does she have access to your email?

I would recommend creating a new EE profile with a GCKey username and password. If you receive an ITA, you can proceed with the application.

If the profile held by the agent and receives an ITA, it’s useless to them without your involvement. Keep in mind that profiles expire after one year. Don’t let any agent hold you hostage

Hello, please can someone respond to this I beg? When putting in application for express entry, when is one required to show proof of funds? Is it among the first documents that u will submit when u apply? I know Wes, IELTS, filling application form, maybe reference from workplace, work experience and some few other stuff will be d first application, I don't know much. But where my worry is is the POF, Or do you show it after you have been given ITA? I really want to know when the whole proof of funds stuff comes in and how long it will need to stay in ones account too. Also is 37 years as main applicant too old for express entry?

Chances dwindle as you get older but you are by no means out of it.

I will advise that you smash your English tests, your spouse needs to smash theirs as well. Then do French if you can.

I smashed my English tests, my spouse did not do well in her English test but I did not do badly in my French tests.

I was older than you when I started the process and got EE okay. If I was under 30, my final scores would have been wicked.

All the best.

As per proof of funds, I had it in my account from the time I declared it to when I soft landed Canada.

You are only required to show proof of funds after you have received ITA. And once you receive ITA, you have 60 days to submit your application, along with your POF.

By the time you submit your application, the money should be at least 6 months in your account. If its not, you'd have to explain the source of the funds, if its less than that time.

About the age, you've lost about 35 points already. The best choice is to learn French as a second language to boost your score, if possible.

Is this a glitch? Is there anyone else facing this same issue here? Please help me if you know what I can do about this

Your IELTS score would have been perfect with an 8 in listening... It'll increase your CRS scores drastically, apart from that, you should explore 2 or more certificates, French or PNP if you haven't looked into it.

Pls how do I check CRS scores? Any link?

Ensure that you’re using both your first and middle name (if you registered with it) in the first box for “given name” e.g Mary Jones

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing, I’ve even switched the names, changed from capital to small letters and done all sort, it’s not working out. I’ll probably go to their office tomorrow. Thank you.

Nairaland is not from IRCC, still people use it for the information. They're people already in Canada that went thru the whole PR application process that don't even know nairaland exist. Don't let "over-sabi" make you stop people from accessing information from anywhere they choose to get it from.

The post on the forum blog I shared earlier contain steps to use the CRS tool and consequences of misrepresentation answering the questionnaire. The same link you shared is included as well with all indication that it's the sole tool needed to evaluate CRS score.

Don't think you open the link before you came in with your response. You're a typical Nigerian with "every Nigerian is a fraud" mentality.

Nairaland had its own little beginning just like this LandingGist forum. We all developed nairaland to make it what it's today.

Quit the hate, bruh!

You're a typical case of "Omo Elefo" in yoruba. When called upon, the so-called omo elefo replied with - "Efo mi o ki n se tori akitan ooh". So I'm hating on you because you're the founder of Facebook or because you're Sean Fraser? Imagine wasting the extremely minimal hatred i have on someone that doesn't matter, Waste of hate!

To start with, I replied someone who directly mentioned me with exactly what they asked for. So why are you crying and weeping all over the page? Them collect your biscuit.?

If everybody here was replying people's request with a link to their websites, Youtube channels etc how do you think this thread will look like.? To make it worse, you've not contributed any reasonable thing to this thread since it's inception, how many requests have you answered here without adding a link? 90% of your post has a link on it, that is to say, if you don't have any opportunity to advertise your link, you won't reply anyone.

Yet, you're shouting hate up and down, who loves the OP between you and I.? Someone who gives him exactly what he needed or someone who gave what he doesn't need for their selfish reasons.?

I’d check again today before going to their office. If you put in the correct information, it usually takes about 24 working hours to reflect on the site.

Thanks to everyone who responded, I have been able to check my result online with the same details that was giving me an error message. I appreciate y’all.
I have a total band score 7.
I’m considering the PNP route, what province is best to consider at the moment?

Hello house,

I need advice as I have almost gotten to the point of giving up on this Canadian PR.
I and my husband are in the pool with me as the main applicant. We currently have a score of 472. But it seems like they won’t be calling that any time soon at this rate. I have tried to look into most PNP routes but we don’t fit into any as I don’t have any family in Canada, I don’t have tech experience either.

Is there anything I am over looking ?
Is there another route we can consider for PR ?
Please I need advice. My NOC is Administrative Assistant.
I have considered learning French but I think it would take me too long as I am overwhelmed with al lot of other activities at the moment.

I will consider your last statement the most. Those overwhelming things, are they more import than your quest to experience Canada? With determination and proper planning I believe you can achieve something for yourself and your family. There are many things you may have to give up temporarily to achieve that.

Who knows the going rate for preparing a gift deed? Is it typical for lawyers to charge a % of the gift? I’m not trying to be cheap but I also don’t want to be obtained. The rates I’ve been quoted seem excessive.

A lot of people prepared theirs themselves using and tweaking a sample draft to fit their situation and took it to the high court or notary public to notarize.

I have considered learning French but I think it would take me too long as I am overwhelmed with al lot of other activities at the moment.

Sometimes you need speak to people who have gone the route before you. I do not know the other activities you have in parallel but if you spoke with a friend or family who has applied for PR and lived in your country they can help prioritise these things and advise you accordingly.

All I can say is if you start something, go for it. 472 now might be worth more or less tomorrow. No one knows.

I love to see ladies take lead in this PR adventure. I am really delighted when I see ladies work as main applicant. Ladies also usually have a very determined spirit when they set out to do something. So please keep the fire burning. Learn French if necessary and keep moving.

I taught my wife French to help her with French exams and so it means that anyone out there who is determined can do it as well.

You need to understand that getting PR is not just the end result (What am I gonna get from it?). It is also about the person you would become at the end. The challenges you overcome along the way will make you a better person able to tackle challenges.

All the best!
