Removing Previous DNS Records by sillysally(op): 12:23pm On Sep 03, 2023
Pls I'm still kinda new to tech. I'm trying to add a new website to cloudflare. Now the problem is reviewing the previous DNS record I don't know which ones to delete before I can point it to the new cloudflare DNS. Are there some I need to leave? Do I delete everything? How will it affect my website if I do? I heard not deleting it before pointing to the new DNS will make the website malfunction. Anyone with knowledge should pls help. I'm still searching YouTube but the videos aren't really helpful.

Use nameservers, they are less complicated

Thanks. I'm pointing the nameservers to the new assigned cloudflare nameservers. But I learned it won't work properly and my website will malfunction if I don't remove the necessary old DNS record from the registrar before pointing it to the new cloudflare nameservers
