It happened in Uniport before and other institution. From Protest to Riot.

As a student you have SUG, That's your only power. Some schools desolve their SUG and have only Student Representative because they don't want student have say over them!

So what you do is study hard to graduate or take a transfer out of the school simple!

Will their expulsion solve the insecurity problem which made them to protest?
Just like in Ogun where the Ijebu LG Chairman was arrested by DSS for exposing the Governor's corrupt ways, will the arrest solve the allegations he raised. Nigeria and its institution always like to pursue rat while their house is burning. Educational institutions should be a place to raise free and critical mindsets, not dimwits and quiet graduates who will not change their society.

Students are being kidnapped/robbed in and around your university campus, and you think the VC and University Council has nothing to do? Are you also saying they have no relationship with the Police station in their area or community who can be drafted or equipped to render better service? Or they cannot call the Visitor of the University (usually the Governor or President) to intervene? What is then their work? Now that they have been rusticated, will the insecurity of students end? You are making a different where there is none.
