If you look at what He said in Matthew 24 & Mark 13 and Luke 21 combined, you will find that the event in question, didn't take place at His resurrection but much later, after the Spirit was poured out on all the people in the land according to the words of the Prophet Joel and many in the land were then able to see (via visions) according to the revelation in Joel 2 vs 28 - 31. undecided

Why are you jumping from Matt 16 to Matt 24 & even Mark?

That means Genesis 1 and Ephesians 12 is also contradicting it just because they are contained in the same Bible abi?

Again, you are daft.

Mark’s account of this statement is, "Verily I say unto you, there are some here of them that stand by, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God come with power" (Mark 9:1).

This passage is the assurance of Jesus to His followers.

" Some" refers to the Apostles

"Taste of death" means they will not die till they see.....

"Coming in his kingdom". By the coming of the kingdom of God we are to understand the manifestation of heavenly glory, which Christ began to make at his resurrection, and which he afterwards made more fully by sending the Holy Spirit, and by the performance of miracles; for by those beginnings he gave his people a taste of the newness of the heavenly life, when they perceived, by certain and undoubted proofs, that he was sitting at the right hand of the Father.

No be the same Jesus Christ wey talk for Matthew 16 and also talk for Matthew 24 & Mark 13 and Luke 13? So, it never occurred to you before now that Jesus Christ has to be accepted in full in order for you or anyone to claim understanding of any of His messages? undecided

2. What in the world are you rambling about? Why did you bother to respond at all if you knew clearly well that you were ignorant of what was written? Do you somehow think you get brownie points from God by jumping in to defend him in your ignorance or what? That only works for your pastors and mogs but not with God. God penalizes you when you use His name to spew what are lies. lipsrsealed

When you lack the most simple of answers you resort to infantile insults. Explain the passage to everyone since you are NOT DAFT. We want to learn please. Thank you.

You're very close to the answer.

James, Peter and John saw Jesus been transfigured meaning this is the person whose voice will bring back all the dead. Matthew 17:1-9

So some among those standing that very day namely James, Peter and John actually saw him (like a vision) coming in his kingdom.

Pure nonsense. You are all wrong and being deceptive. The lady is actually right asking the question - early disciples also asked the same question because their close friends and fellow disciples were dying without experiencing this stupendous event everyone was awaiting.
EVERYONE, including the apostles, understood it to be something in the FUTURE!

Jesus said his disciples will NOT see death until they see him coming in his kingdom. The kingdom has not yet come, yet all the disciples are dead.
I just need a simple explanation from those who know better than me.

You finally asked the question. I thought you were too scared/shy to ask it. It is not a bad question and you are far from the first person to ask it. Early disciples were asking the same question because people were dying left and right. St. Paul gave them the following answer
