If you look at what He said in Matthew 24 & Mark 13 and Luke 21 combined, you will find that the event in question, didn't take place at His resurrection but much later, after the Spirit was poured out on all the people in the land according to the words of the Prophet Joel and many in the land were then able to see (via visions) according to the revelation in Joel 2 vs 28 - 31.
