I don't think this is mathematically possible

It is. The higher the number of strong candidates, the more possible it is.

Oh, that's true, but what if the candidate that won the most votes also won the most states, but failed to get 25% in more than 24 states?

It looks near impossible sha, but mathematically, it is...what happens in that sort of scenario?

The person with the most votes is not considered when choosing the candidate with the most states won. The constitution says “one among the remaining candidates”.
So the 2nd round election would be between the candidate with most votes and the person out of the remaining candidates with the most states won.

The higher the number of "Big" candidates, you mean?

Because we just had 3, which may be the highest we ever got to, and it didn't happen.

Yes. I have edited it. I meant strong candidates.

You get it. It also depends on distribution of votes.

If a candidate wins heavily populated states by a landslide but loses out in the smaller states it can happen.

These scenarios are not likely but they are mathematically possible.

There's evidence that the judgement was leaked before today. If not explain why Peter Obi and Atiku were not represented and all APC stakeholders appeared in court laughing even at the time the addresses were being heard.

Besides, I already knew that justice isn't going to save Nigeria from criminal elements. You could even see how the APC lawyer was reprimanding the justices. grin

Exactly. I personally believe if the actual votes had counted, Atiku would have gotten spread, BAT nicked majority votes and Peter Obi gotten like 70-75% of whatever Atiku/BAT used to win majority votes and spread respectively.

Most of the states where BAT just about nicked 25% or won, there was some magic done to take him over the finish line.

Peter Obi failed to prove...

Atiku Abubakar failed to prove...

APM failed to prove...

But APC and Tinubu that didn't submit any reasonable evidence was able to prove.

Super Story.

Provide examples of such states

Atikus votes were "stolen" by Obi in most of Southern Nigeria, How many states in the entire South did Atiku get 25%?

These things ought not to be an issue if INEC did their job my making original result sheets available to petitioners, and made uploading of results to IREV possible on election day.

Plans to rig the elections were made before the elections even, and was made easier with APC being the incumbent party.

Let me explain to you using Imo state gubernatorial election as example.

INEC declared PDP as the winner of the election, Hope Uzodinma disagreed and went to court.

One key evidence that Hope Uzodinma presented in court is a different result sheet that's different from the one that Inec used to declare the PDP guy winner.

In the result sheet, Hope Uzodinma mentioned all the polling that he won that INEC cancelled and argued that he won those polling units free and square and INEC has no right no void those valid votes. You know the rest.

If you are going to say INEC declared the wrong result or collided with your opponent to declare another result, you must have the genuine result with you to show that the one INEC declared was rigged or falsified. Every party is meant to have their own copy of each polling unit and LG collation result, that is what will form the basis of your petition. It's when you get to the tribunal that you will show the copy of the result that your party got at the polling unit/collation center and use it as evidence against the one that INEC will tender to show that your own result is the correct one.

If you dont have the result as declared at the polling unit and all LG collation centers, on what ground are you basing your win from? That's the reason Peter Obi and LP could not specify which polling unit or LG result was rigged against them.

In Hope Uzodinmma case, he was able to produce the signed result sheet from their polling booth agent as well as the copy that was given to the police at the polling unit. That's how you win election tribunal.
