Truth be told, any sane obedient that followed yesterday's judgement by now would have admitted that Peter Obi's legal team really messed up.

It was a show of shame, they were taken to the cleaners by the Justices.

PDP lead counsel was also not spared, a book on law, published by a lawyer, that he had a privilege of writing an intelligent forward on and recommended same to advance legal profession....He himself did not do the basics of filing petitions that he advised in the said book.

More like knowing what to do as a master and failing to do them for whatever reason...it was an eyesore.

No one should pity the petitioners, if I were them, I will not approach the supreme court with these sets of legal team, if at all o wish to challenge the judgement.

The judgement was 5-0!!! Not even a single one dissenting opinion from the justices...that bad! So, what exactly will they be going to the supreme court for


What has happened is what has been predicted here from the onset....Divided house of PDP gave this win to APC on a platter of gold. They throw this chance away by their very own selfish reasons. All of them...Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso throw away this chance!

I wondered over the abject performance of their legal team. I suspected it might go this way when the respondents lead lawyer called only 2 witnesses and that was simply to allow them introduce evidence.

This only happens when one party believes the other has not made a case and wants to avoid helping them build one through the cross examination of its own witnesses.

Sometimes even the smartest lawyers can be blinded by the riches attached to the brief and the presence of too many political advisors.

That's what I think happened here. The case was fought on popular demand rather than legal jurisprudence.

I wasn't expecting anything contrary. Obi, is to blame for this. The APC would have been ousted out by the abysmal performance of ex president Alhaji General Buhari if Obi has aligned with the PDP.I am sorry, he may not have any chance again.
