England, Uruguay, Italy, Argentina and France won their first ever world cups at home..that plays a major role only Brazil Spain and Germany dint win their first at home ...so u need to understand these things play a vital role ... reason y good teams like the Netherlands that have played 3 finals and Belgium and even Portugal have never won it .... its almost impossible to win a tournament when u have never at least experienced hosting at least at one time ... Nigeria won their first ever nations Cup at home so as Algeria, Egypt , Ghana ,South Africa and Cameroon .... Portugal first ever appearance in a tournament final was when they hosted in 2004 .... u really don't understand how these stuffs work
