Yes, correct, but the problem is, as an ex convict he would find it difficult to get jobs. Also, as a registered sex offender, he has to notify the police of his prescence wherever he is and if a rape happens in his neighbourhood, the police would look at him as a potential suspect.

And guess what, as a sex offender, he may find it difficult to move into certian residential areas. No one wants a sex offender in their midst.

My friend read properly.....he was sentenced for 7 years but the incident occurred 47 years ago.
