blaise26abj:Like I said , the 25% issue was only one of the prayers in the petition . Why would there be anarchy if the president was removed on the basis of one prayer but no anarchy if he was removed on the basis of the other four ? The message delivered to the judges was clear . Do not unseat me on any basis or there’ll be consequences. And in the event of such happening , your Lordships’ safety cannot be guaranteed. The point is not whether Tinubu had the most votes or not. The point is that the Justices’ ability to adjudicate impartially was infringed upon. Do I need to remind you that on the issue of the civil forfeiture, the current CJN had explicitly , in a ruling while he was a Justice of the Court of Appeal, stated that even if the defendant was not guilty of a crime , that forfeiture represents a loss of right , privilege or property; in order words punishment for a crime ? These were the exact words of the then Justice of the Appeal Court, not CJN. Thus the tribunal Justices had a precedence in law to nullify Tinubu’s presidency based on the forfeiture prayer in the petition as expressly guaranteed by Section 137 (d) of the 1999 constitution . But this did not happen as the judges had an overriding interests in safeguarding their own lives based on the threats by the president. This is my submission .

Enice:Why are you still here ? You have nothing to contribute and also, notwithstanding in any event of such , it’s not needed. Also why are you altering my spelling in the last sentence while quoting me, changing skills to skil and capitalizing ‘ I’ in is ? What a criminal mindset! |

BitterTruth01:There is a difference between civil forfeiture and criminal forfeiture . The issue with Tinubu was that the said property that he owned was used for criminal activities ( supposedly without his knowledge ) and it was thus subjected to a civil forfeiture. If Tinubu had been found involved in the drug trade, he would have been prosecuted and STILL lose the property ( criminal forfeiture) . However in this case it was civil and because it was caught up in criminal activities , he forfeited it . For example , the son of a man uses his father’s house as hideout for kidnappers . The father might lose the house in civil forfeiture DESPITE the father’s innocence . So to me The CJN has not changed the legal precedence . I don’t see a threat but just stating facts . Same way “eyes” were on justices . Check this write up https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2022/11/29/forfeiture-and-its-many-variants?amp=1 |

BitterTruth01:And for me , stating that there will be chaos for 25% FCT is factual . And since he didn’t include the other prayers when stating the above , it would be unfair for you to assume it includes all the other prayers . |

Olanipekun, in a final written address to the tribunal against the petition, said the FCT is the 37th state for electoral purposes and any other interpretation would “lead to absurdity, chaos, anarchy and alteration of the very intention of the legislature.” Which is the fact and a valid statement. Judges are bound to work with the fact and truth not absurdity like you zombie obidients. you are shameless and very dull to insinuate Abuja votes are special and more important than others, thank God every one in Nigeria, especially our judges are not dull zombies like obidients ![]() Obidients specialize in turning reason, fact and common sense upside down, make una go create una mumu country of absurdity not Nigeria. |

blaise26abj:Really, so 25% of 2/3 states, does it also make other states have special status? Why are there no huge transfer of voters card and war in the 2/3 of 36 states that are also given special status? |
| Re: The Intimidation Of The Judiciary Was Successful by blaise26abj(m): 3:31pm On Sep 08, 2023 |
KINGTELLER:25 percent in 2/3 of the states means it can be any state . But insisting that a state has to be 25 percent makes the votes there special . For example saying that any presidential candidate MUST make 25 percent in Ekiti state in addition to the other 2/3 states gives Ekiti a special status and a more valuable vote . Meaning elections will be hot in that state because a candidate might win all the other states and lose Ekiti and still not be declared president . Do you understand now ? |

blaise26abj:It is what it is, constitution is constitution, if that is what it means it must be followed to the latter without inference to twist the law. If anyone feels indifferent let them amend the constitution in the right quarter, that is why we have the senate and house of rep. If a constituion says only the North will rule for 16years and you feel cheated, then address it by having the constitution amended. We shouldn't be interjecting the constitution with another clause that all Nigerians are equal and then nullify it with emotional logic |
