LaSenior:Because someone died in the aircraft? They should be banned? Abi don't you know the less the airlines that fly out of Nigeria the more expensive the cost of airfare will be? We (so called giant of africa) that do not even have a national carrier will have the mouth to ban the one helping us travel, no be juju be that? |

LaSenior:My friend, first know what she died from before "suing" anybody. She may have had health issues which many are desperate to hide just to leave the country |

Sharpsharp00123:In my opinion, the expectation is that they should follow whatever laid out process they have. Every airline has processes defined for different scenarios. |

Firstly may she rest in peace Secondly people have various medical conditions that we don't know about but when it shows up there might not be the right medical team around to help etc. Lastly, we as Nigerians are one of the most evil people to ourselves... as an example , was she poisoned by someone that she knows because they are jealous of her move and education?... i.e. a step mother might be jealous to do something this bad etc. They should do an autopsy in Egypt before anything... that is what the Nigerian embassy should lrbdo asap without a penny from the family of the girl. Never forget the lord giveth and the lord taketh... rip Yankiss: |

You seriously lack comprehension. Read my comment again and pay attention to every word I used. My comment was not a statement of fact.... I used the words 'could have' and 'maybe'.... do those words suggest to you like a statement of fact? An average Nigerian rush to comment without properly comprehending what they comment on... yewit37486: |

Yankiss:The airline did the right thing by contacting the consulate. That was in INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT, not DOMESTIC FLIGHT. |

Yankiss:Oga, painful as it may be, the lady died in the aircraft, it is a regular occurrence. She most likely had existing health issues. Sad as it may be, the fault of her death cannot be placed on the airline, abi did you hear the crew fought with her or strangled her? That flight probably had over 160 passangers. 159 arrived egypt with no issues. She died, she died and that is unfortunate. As she died, what did you expect the airline to do? Turn the aircraft back from Egypt and fly the corpse to Nigeria with it decomposing in the aircraft? Is the proper thing not to deposit the body in the morgue? See, there are laws governing aviation industry. The corpse is in the morgue abroad, the airline has contacted the passangers countries high commission, the commission in turn contacted the deseased family. This is not naija matter that man and woman will go to hotel, man dies from BP issues, relatives will claim the lady killed him one way or the other. |

Things like these make me angry at our leaders not doing well. If Nigerian leaders were doing so well and growing our economy, making Nigeria a force to be reckoned with in the world, there will be some respect on how its citizens are treated abroad. We need good leadership at every sphere of our government. This is not just about the presidency. It also involves the governors, senators, house of assembly members and more. If the so called “leaders” don’t treat its citizens right, how do you expect other nations to do the same. Charity begins at home. |

Yankiss:This is a tragic and unimaginable situation. I can’t even imagine the situation the family would be in right now. As per airline industry policy, the airline did nothing wrong. They followed the policy that asked the captain to notify the destination airport; the destination airport will now notify the relevant authority, which in her case is the Nigerian Embassy in Cairo. How do you expect the airline to reach out to her family when they don’t have the information? We use our personal mobile number and email as our primary contact information when buying tickets, so there’s no way the airline will be able to reach out to her family. The worst thing is that her family will have to come up with a huge amount of money to transport her corpse back to Nigeria. RIP to her. |
